A new, short race is the sensible, practical solution; time honoured for decades. Leave the rules alone. Stiff shit for Danger but it's happened to heaps of riders.

Overall Deegan’s performance for the day typifies everyone in the 250 class not named Lawrence - lack of consistency. He had three moto starts for the day. His first lap positions were first, last and 11th.

True, but if he sweeps Ironman but doesn't win everything at SMX or MXdN, technically the streak will still be alive and kicking.

As much as I'd like to see this younger generation of Aussies on the team... Dean is ripping, and close to his best right now – And i'd say our best chance at winning. And it sounds like Kawi is out so I doubt Mitch goes.

8/20/2023 10:47am Very sensibly so The medical flag incident causing the red flag will have affected riders differently. Some will be WOGged other will still be able to race. Instead of trying to work out positions from transponders and sector loops on a 1.5 mile MX track for a staggered start it is fairer, more exciting and a LOT easier and quicker...
