I’m not directly comparing Deegan and JLaw because there is not really a good comparison between their conduct. My point in bringing up the Dungey vs. JLaw is a parallel between Dungey’s demeanor, poise, and class, which Jett is similar to in some ways, with JLaw’s brasher, more rebellious ways with a flair for controversy, which Deegan has some similarities to. I am not saying Deegan is out doing drugs, partying etc. But I am saying that Jett, like Dungey, has certain characteristics that may appeal more to large corporate sponsors, the kind that this thread is talking about.

Well they have done all of that especially with their speed triple motor that revised a couple years ago. This is not really unique to Triumph, most street bike engines are very advanced and have been for quite some time. The new 1200 triple motor is all of what you mentioned, along with a bunch of other street engines from many manufactures. Finger follower engine, 12,000 rpm redline, and high performance street bikes have been downdraft engines since when they were still carb fueled 20 years ago. Parents thinking their kids are showing world class potential and following unrealistic dreams- Unlike the dreamers, the Lawrence’s actually travelled internationally as juniors and competed in World junior titles. Obviously have not been to as many nationals of late that I once did, but I think the formation of the MX3 class and the junior talent coming through, Aus MX / SX could be close to as healthy as it has been for a long time. Allowing super talented 14/15 years olds race the MX3 class is allowing the top juniors to progress faster than before. Numbers seem pretty healthy across the MX1, MX2 and MX3 classes.

Perfect season in your rookie debut is a high bar to set. The highest bar, you literally cant go higher. Jettson is seriously taking the sport to the next level. If he closes this out you wont be able to beat his record only tie it. Congrats kid!

All the videos comparison ect is exactly what I mean by free pass. People keep trying to justify his actions. It doesn't matter who it is its not a good look and not professional.

According to the Deegs he was riding faster in that first moto than he did at Washougal and was catching hunter 🤷 I must of been watching a different race as the only time LilDeegs caught Hunter was when Hunter was stuck behind lappers or in a battle. I thought I seen Hunter gap the Deegs every time he got close ??
