Why Haiden Deegan will be on the MXdN Team

Agree…. It’s not Tomac-Sexton-Cooper speed, but it’s a team to give it their all.  And worth a look at a podium result.  Plessinger has shown he can run just off of the fastest….

You just can’t have 2 results in the 20’s.

Will RJ outscore Mitch Evans, Tom Vialle or Kay DeWolf???  The rest of those teams are within a few points.  That 3rd rider likely decides the finishing order.

Exactly, I've been to the two red buds and watched them all on tv  This race is never what you thinks its going to be. JB was on an absolute paper route the last time he rode this track 

That's Justin.  He can be a head case.  When he's feeling it...it's a thing of beauty....but you never know when he's feeling it.  I will say he seems to feel it at the nation's so there's that.

Plessy really isn't much better.  He can ride any surface but you just never know his frame of mind.  I've seen him at Ironman...dude can ride.

Those two CAN limit the damage.  I was counting on Deegan to really shine and bring home the bacon.  If he's questionable...I don't know where we go?

If Deegan is out, that leaves RJ/Kitchen/Forkner, who else could be considered?

Is PC a no due to Kawi affiliation or is that only the 450 kawi team that won't attend?

Kitchen is start dependent, RJ I imagine wants to go, and if the team is AP/Barcia/RJ it's Austrian brands only. DeCoster is probably on board with that. 

Imagine we hear the team this weekend at the finale?

Deegan will only go if they know they are favourites. Losing won’t do their brand any good. By the way this is a wild guess.

Silly Season says Kitchen to PC, so I'd say he's probably out for this year just from lack of time on the bike (and the potential for PC to not be willing to send him).

DBO said it’s just a rumor that he doesn’t want to go but then again no PR so his tweet is also just a rumor…maybe one of the moto journalists could get the Deegan camp on record if they would be in if asked??? Wouldn’t think it would be that hard to ask/get an answer 🤷‍♂️

I forgot about Kitchen moving to PC.  That really means it's on RJ.  I hope he's healthy.

I know, I know...he hasn't been out there all season like the others...but...he is showing speed and more importantly MATURITY.  Add patience and racecraft to his speed and he's a dangerous man.  We need a dangerous man at MXdN.

if Austin puts it in the top 5 again this week and has a strong SMX, i am 110 percent confident he’ll be our guy. What a story that would be.

Mike Pelletier of the AMA said they're announcing it this weekend. 

What a shame if USA doesn't send Haiden. He's the highest scoring American 250 rider this year, he deserves to go.
