That was cool as hell to see. I have no idea if he’s familiar with some of the older names he was reading (besides RC & JS), but you could tell there was a lot of respect for the accomplishment there.

Man i laughed when Jett talked about the crf450 being the best handling 450 out there at the press conference and you could see how Chase just wanted to disapear from the table..

Well deserved and all the respect, but in my opinion he is boring to watch. Yes he has style for days but doesnt have something raw. I like to see more character

So, you must be mates with the Herlings clan that think wins are more important than championships?

Yes, one of them is far superior than the other. 
 

But after this winter AND summers constant blame on the bike from Chase, i find it a bit funny when his rookie team mate praises the bike.. and goes on a win streak

Jettson certainly has delivered a season for the record books! His "Program" is running on high octane fuel. As an old-timer I do appreciate the humility that he has carried himself with this season. Humility and talent are tough to defeat!

Jett has won the championship in each of the last 5 series has has entered. Guess it's time for the boy to find an A+ money manager and start diversifying his investment portfolio.

That comparison is inevitable and understandable.

Reed was obviously great at supercross, and, in my opinion, a highly underrated motocross rider.

As always making comparisons between eras is difficult.  Jet is certainly in a position to become an all time great, perhaps nearly the greatest , and probably eclipse Reed’s records.  Reed is established as one of the all time greats, but he also went head to head with the greatest in history and gave him all he could handle in supercross.
