I wonder how RC took being demoted to trackside announcer. 

After seeing his egotistical douchery on DB's vlog late in the SX season, I can only imagine.

I think Ricky is actually developing some self awareness.

Instead of blurting inside/outside on repeat for 30+2 he toned it down the frequency and gave us an extended version yesterday.

"See what he is doing is going from the outside....pause...then he moves over to the inside"

RC & Stew need to stop gushing over each other, they are like 2 teenagers that just discovered sex.. 

The 'inside/outside' thing is unbearable.  It makes the sport sound utterly unsophisticated. It's even worse - as you point out - when RC tries to make it more elaborate.  

A few knocks to the head over the years, RC was loved when he first started, give a time JS will be laughed at once people get over all his patterns and terms.

Another one is "elbow grease"... he really gave him some "elbow grease in that corner". He said it all Supercross season. Haven't really heard him say it during outdoors, I wonder if someone said something.

This is going to sound bad but I mean it with the utmost respect to both James and Ricky. In my opinion what makes James a better color commentator is the fact that he does not try and talk smarter than he is. He just talks racing in his own words and tells it like he sees it. Ricky tries to talk above his intelligence and gets off track in doing so.  

Yeah I was shaking my head at that one as well...maybe RC just doesn't want Jett to go undefeated as well lol

Same. I thought he did it on purpose and kind of laughed. At least that is how it sounded to me.

Lol RC fumbled a lot. No hate though I did say to the missus at some point that RC is going to be scanning tickets at the gate at this rate.

Agree with the talking is way too much. Let us hear the bikes. Like its a race or something.

RC and Stew seem just like they did on the track.  Stew is a natural, and RC works hard and still can't match Stew.

At least this year RC preparated and came up with a new phrase "I seen it coming a mile away".

why is that always the response from people that can't handle facts. 

James is FAR better on merit anyway, but NBC also sucks. these things don't have to be mutually exclusive. 

if NBC really gave a fk about merit exclusively over credentials (of any kind), DB would be in the booth next year for SX instead of the greatest throttle twister evar.
