I’m an older rider, raced and loved 500’s, but also raced every size of bike along the way. Spent years on 125’s. And they were exciting to ride and race, and exciting to watch too. The thing is, it’s not just the power of the modern bikes, but the handling too is so good that the speeds are higher than ever before. We are not going to give up our modern suspension. 11/18/2024 5:33pm As my Ortho said when I asked him about braces after tearing my ACL/MCL, if braces did anything every Basketball and Football player would wear them. I got back up to 80% so have yet to have to get it repaired but I wear a POD on my bad knee. At worst it protects against hyper extension.

11/4/2024 5:33pm I was an electric bike hater until I rode one. I have little interest in riding gas bikes now. Sure, there are constraints but for my use case it's outstanding. The best part is the basically zero maintenace.

9/16/2024 5:10pm It exists, you just need to find a roller and fab some brackets. I built a 2020 CRF that had 25 hours on it for $3k less battery including all the street legal stuff. Building my own battery for about $1200.

8/26/2024 5:42pm It already exists, I built it, it rips. 28 kw, 220 lbs, have it setup for single track/enduro. Just under $4k all in including the roller that had ~28 hours on it.

Worst take of the day! The drone is bad ass! Better than a helo even, which is out of budget. I am surprised sky sports still uses a helo for F1!

Drone adds a lot to the broadcast, like line choice. Problem is when they get lazy with it, and use it exclusively vs. using it to highlight options in a turn or a section.

Super insightful and witty “predict the future” “live in the past” so much more entertaining than “get a good start. Hit your marks”. This is the type of advice my dad would give me and I could really cling to and use when racing. Love that type of gritty input
