3/5/2026 5:28pm If her and Pam would spend half of the time doing their job as they do on Fox News or playing cosplay cop, they would probably accomplish something meaningful. I had big hopes for Bondi.

2/2/2026 7:26am It’s so wild how from WW2 through the Cold War, we were putting out new planes, ships, helicopters, etc in a matter of months compared to decades now. An Essex carrier in WW2 took 8-12 months compared to 8-10+ years now. Ben Rich talks about it a bit at the end of his book, but all of the red tape...

1/29/2026 8:44am I have one. This is my second one and I really enjoy it. My first one, I was getting in the low 20s mph wise on the highway with bigger tires on it. My new one hasn’t broke in yet, so I am getting 17.5 on average with stock tires and wheels. The only thing I’ve noticed is when I...

1/20/2026 7:48pm I have probably read 2 or 3 books in my lifetime as I have ADD, that was before it was actually a thing. 🙄 But Chuck Yeager's book and Jeremy McGrath are the two I can think of off hand. 😁 At one time Chuck Yeager was the FMOTP (Fastest Man on the Planet) and was the FIRST one to break the sound barrier. He was in a Rocketship that was dropped out of a B-29. "On 14 October 1947, Yeager's plane - nicknamed Glamorous Glennis, in honour of his first wife - was dropped from the bomb bay of...

1/10/2026 9:38pm The first chapter in EMT class is about medical ethics and standard of care. Once you have your hands on a patient, you have a responsibility to stay with them until passed off to a higher standard of care. Whatever that FD(?) guy learned after moving Barcia (!) would dictate hold manual C-spine until help arrives. Yet, there he is standing on the side of the track while his patient lay all alone. Another notch on the A-Stars/Asterisk/Bodnar belt.

1/9/2026 7:44am My impression is that they are baby sitters and hand holders, while the agency handles their contracts and important business. It is very valuable to have a disposable friend/agent by your side to be a buffer between the athlete and media/public, one who isn't afraid to tell people to beat it. I remember Kenny's agent coming across insane too with the whole unmarked pill bottle situation during the "offseason." I agree with you though, it's insane that these people have influence and power in a professional sport lol.

1/9/2026 7:44am It's wild to me that a guy like Mirtl, or Hayes are hired to represent such high caliber riders. They both seem a bit "slow" in the intelligence department.
