Hot & Dry all week, sorry AP no rain this year 😛 Think it’ll be hard pack and dusty by the end of the motos ? Whose style does that favor ?
Tomac on the magical mythical steel frame ?
Webb mister throttle control ?
Roczen captain smooth and “100% happy with the motorcycle” ?
Sexton ? Never mind…
Anderson from Arizona no stranger to dusty slippery
Who you guys think ? Any surprise guys ?
What we do know for sure is no mudder threads this week
😀

so biblically dry?
Dryer than a church picnic..
Drier than a Baptist barbecue

I'm still trying to figure out how 72-75 is hot.
Looks like perfect weather to me. Not sure about “hot & dry”. I am predicting weather, should be weather that day.
Tough crowd . Ok how about Hot for San Diego in January, better ? I was in Irvine today and it was 90°, but it’s a dry heat 😛
Anderson, New Mexico? Similar.
It's not hot or cold, it's perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately people will see that on TV and want to move here. It's a fluke people, this is not normal weather here. Normal weather is shit, do not get fooled with what you see on the TV!
TM
More people are leaving that state they are moving into that state!!!
Yes, let's keep it that way. It's terrible here.
It sucks here too! Don’t come, weather is terrible and the people are worse.
If they start towards the Front again.. Tomac and Roczen repeat. New year, same result. The top 2 or 3 guys beating the shit out of the rest. Sexton is the only guy i see staying close to Roczen and Tomac consistently
Come to England in January.
We don't do dry either ☹️.
How is Webb known for his throttle control?? First time I hear it. The only things which have been attributed are, tight turning/cutting down and the mental toughness. Being overlooked, improving over the series duration…
New Mexico and California are not alike weatherwise. Only poorly run with horrible politics similarity.
correct, and there's more than 1 very good reason for that. The so-called "weather dividend" is not reality and nowhere near enough to compensate for all the other negatives forced upon longtime residents over the years. I was born in CA in 1958 and lived there consistently until escaping permanently in 2017. Sucha shame too, it was the greatest experience growing up there in the 1970's to early 1980s before all the crazy overwhelmed common sense and working on behalf the citizens in favor of special interests and seeking political power at all costs along with graft underlying it all.
Pit Row
Well I guess I goofed on a couple things eh ? 😄
(According to the people who don't live here) It isn't hot when there's Santa Ana winds and summertime temps in January. OK.
Ca. sucks, everyone's moving. OK
I associated the ability to turn down and duck underneath guys with throttle control, that's not accurate ? OK.
JA is from New Mexico not AZ. Oops my mistake.
I thought I was starting a topic to discuss who might have an advantage if the tracks rock hard and dusty, unlike the slopfest 2 years ago. What tires will work etc.
Guess I need to fact check and read the room better in the future 😄😄 My mistake. Carry on. Hope you guys have a good day. Got our tickets for SD, stoked no rain this year ! Over & Out.
Never underestimate Vitals ability to derail the simplest of topics. 🤣
I agree with you, I think the problem is some of us are jealous of that weather. We have 4" of new snow down 20mph winds and a high of 24 for the day and have to work outside. So I see 70's and start questioning my choice to have lived in Ohio my whole life. 🤣 Actually I do like Ohio just not this morning. Enjoy the day my friend.
With the steelie frame and confidence Eli has I wouldn't put a dollar against him right now. 12° in Mpls right now so stuff your 78° bs...
😄yeah forgot where I was for a second, Brain Fart ! 🤪
Lived in NorCal and got used to 105f. Lived in Ottawa and got where -10c was decent. After 10 years in Portland OR I now find 75f to be on the hot side. Can’t help you.
We’ve had mild Santa Ana’s all week resulting in lower humidity than usual for this time of year.
Hopefully they water little and often starting Friday to let it soak in otherwise it’ll be bone dry and slippery as heck unless they get the watering wrong then it’ll be greasy & slippery as heck on a super hard base.
NB: unclear if dragging politics in to every topic is obligatory but if it is can all the people leaving CA please leave from San Diego County. People are still moving to North County in droves and they are building thousands of new residential dwellings still..
With the forecast of biblically dry conditions, how much will static electricity factor into the race?
People who let politics rule their world and make it part of their identity can’t help injecting it into nearly every conversation they have. It’s annoying.
Welcome to Vital (and the world), enjoy your stay.
Ouch! That’s one way to wake yourself up.
