This. 3 counties run this entire state. Come to Keen county and tell me it’s liberal

Not to go too far off topic, but outside of Los Angeles and San Francisco Metro areas, most of California is conservative or centrist. 33 military bases are located In California, including the DEVGRU/Seal Training base in San Diego, and thousands of servicemen and Officers live and retire here, more than any other place in the United States. Why don't you head in to a bar in Coronado and tell a Navy Seal that he is a "Liberal" for living here, and tell me how it turns out for you. Do not believe everything you hear on Fox News.

He’s good just way overhyped. Look at the class he’s in. Chris Blose is rounding out the top 5 and we all know Smith is a choke artist.

Lots of Character there. Cozy setup.

Specialized Stumpjumper. Look no further. Has to be one of the best all around bikes on the market right now. Climbs well, descends well, reasonably light weight depending on the build you get, and Specialized generally gets you more bang for your buck build wise because of their buying power. 130mm of rear suspension and 140mm of front travel is a touch above modern XC bikes and a touch below some of the bigger, more dh focused enduro bikes. Great for all around riding and can hold it's own at the bike park depending on the pilot.. I know Specialized...

Thus far mtb seems more intent on adopting and eclipsing moto price tags!

These guys did a stupid thing but probably best just to let it go and move on

Bro, I hate to say it, but the majority of dudes who ride moto are inconsiderate douchebags. Not exactly a community of people with high emotional intelligence.

Right - this is something I've cracked, ready for the downvotes but this will work: 1. Get your blood sugar levels working right - if you have been shovelling food into your body 3x day for decades then try a bit of intermittent fasting / fasting 2. Get a second phone with all social media / distractions removed - you can forward calls to this phone from your other phone 3. Stop watching porn - seriously, you're not designed to virtually "have sex" with 1,000s of women like a Roman emperor, this fucks up your motivation/reward loop 4. Watch the...

Show up with a smile on your face and you'll have no problem making friends at a race track I promise you. A cooler full of cold beer is recommended but not required.

I barely know my "ride buddy". Seriously. Met at the track by asking if he would call my wife if I wadded. He asked me to reciprocate. We hardly talk at the track---just text messages regarding ride days. Having someone to load your stuff if you digger can remove a lot of anxiety. 😅

Plus u can always find someone slower, I take my wife just incase since I can still beat her lol

What Kyle & Wade said!!! My son used to get nervous before going onto the MX track when he was younger, I would always tell him, NO ONE is watching you or judging you! EVERY person here is into dirt bikes and trying to do the SAME thing your doing, have fun & get better at riding their dirt bike! Do NOT worry about them, or what they’re thinking, right now you will be faster than everyone NOT on the track riding! Just go out there, do your best, have fun and don’t think another thought about them! If they...

I can relate to the point I started a similar post. For me @40yo it's nerve wrecking to think about getting back out there. Long story short I went otb when I was 25 and was knocked out on the track, woke up in the back of a gator. Then took a really long break from track riding. Never stopped riding though. Honestly, don't worry about what others think. I know it's easier said than done but once the gate drops the only thing to focus on is what's in front of you. Be humble and kill 'em with kindness.

A kid I’m currently coaching at the track has the same issue, has major anxiety and tends to freak out when he lines up for a race or just suiting up to go practice…like Kyle said above, all of us have our own insecurities and I tell him all the time I’m still scared if certain obstacles on mains just like he is with people and it calms him down and gives him some peace of mind. Most of the time riding with people and making friends at the track and races really helps and I personally find it much...

Eli has 7 wins this season, Chase has 5. He didn’t back in to the championship and he didn’t quit when he kept crashing while leading. I’m an Eli fan, but the asterisk championship narrative is at best laughable and at worst asinine. Give credit where credit is due.

How many races did tomac win by default when he wasn't the fastest guy? What happens if you took those points away in your assessment of deservability. Big conundrum you have there huh.

It’s not really lucky, Chase had elite speed all year. If you go down the luck road, you could argue that the rest of the field was lucky Chase kept crashing on his own with big leads early.

Remember when Chase kept crashing while leading. Some of the people on here talked so much crap about him, so for that reason it’s satisfying to see him win. He didn’t fold when he kept crashing. He won races straight up, so to say that there’s an asterisk with it isn’t objective. Personally I was pulling for Eli, I thought that he had this one in the bag and could just coast in. Chase seems like a good guy, I get that if he’s not your guy then you might say that he didn’t really win, but the truth is...
