"As a consequence, the French round will be substituted with an event in Abu Dhabi, taking place on November 18, one week prior to the Australian final. Unfortunately, this change means that French fans will need to travel a bit further." For sure, they need to travel waaaaaaay farther. To... Paris!

I personally don't think WSX rd2 in Lyon suffers from the Tour de France or the economic situation. I think it has more to do with facing tough competition. This Saturday, the french SX championship is taking off in Clermont-Ferrand, 100 miles from Lyon. The stadium is way smaller (15000 spectators) but it is sold out just like it was...

This is NEVER going to draw public interest until they have riders lining up on that gate. And by riders i mean more than just Ken Roczen. This whole WSX thing ain't gonna work folks.

Main problem is that they don't have riders, simple as that, you are not going to convence the french motocross fanbase to watch Ken Roczen and... Vince Friese? When a few weeks ago they saw Herlings, Prado, Seewer, Febvre, De Wolf at the French GP, that they are going to see Herlings, Jett, Sexton? Deegan?, Prado, Febvre, Ferrandis? At the end of the year at MXdN and even later in the year they will see Jett, Webb, Barcia, Vialle at the París SX. Supercross is hard to grow outside the US, at least in Spain the only way to grow...

Hopefully, too much SX as it is and too many SX only contracts. Time to get back to riders doing both series and maybe knocking a couple of rounds off the current AMA SX as it is to give riders a few weeks off between series. Don’t quite get the fascination with SX over outdoor Motocross.

The fact that the OEMs put their factory riders under lock and key sure doesn't help WSX. Roczen is the only racer with real star power and unless he has a big problem, no one on the riders list can beat him. That's probably not the best way to sell rather expensive tickets. By the way, SX Global's Mubadala Capital...

You know how everyone has been wondering how this series was making any money??? Looks like the Saudis finally found out that they are indeed not making any money. Apologies in advance but... this whole WSX deal has been a clown show from the start. Sounds like that whole group has over promised and under delivered. Unfortunately, this is a common thread within the sport.

I'm no ML but that's we hear in France, unfortunately. I'm actually surprised there's no press release yet.

It's a combination of things that have led to Vialle not having the results outdoors that one would expect. 1. The 250 class has no age limit here, so it's chalked full of super fast guys of all ages. It's no joke even outdoors. 2. Bike production rule and track differences means he's having to figure out a set up from scratch. 3.The higher speeds on ama tracks combined with the crazy aggression in ama is something he has to get use to. 4. Since he came to the states, practically all of his time has been devoted to supercross...

Kenny stole the show and realistically we should not be surprised. But, the real story as far how this season is going play out is Ferrandis. I can’t be alone in thinking that he was gonna possibly get Kenny before the end of Moto 2 and out of the guys left racing he has the best outdoor record. If he has found comfort on the new bike expect him to completely leave the KTM duo behind and as long as AC has nerve issues him as well. Although AC showed fantastic promise at high point. Jett’s biggest challenger was never...

Thanks Guys.. I know it is pretty nerdy, but you really have to spend a lot of time pouring over these details to recreate an accurate works build. I am also interested in how the technology of the MX bikes have evolved since the early 70's. The mid-70's works RC's had titanium bolts, but in those days, titanium was thought of as the kind on material you would only find on NASA spaceships Smile , but today it is a fair common material for easily obtainable aftermarket parts. I was really interested in when Honda started using machined titanium parts on...

Heer is a pic of Roczen's straight rhythm build which is actually McGraths' old 2005 factory Honda.. You can see the HRC ti knuckle clearly.. the outward facing boss that acts as the stop when the lever folds out is ever so slightly different form the 1997-99 and 2000-01 knuckles and the easiest way to identify the different knuckles.
