Heard Steve’s interview with Tomac today and wow what a difference. Both are 5 time outdoor champs, 4 450 and 1 250 for Eli, 2 450 and 3 250 for Jeff. There are so many aspects to being a great commentator. From having smooth delivery, knowledge of the sport, to the little details about privateers nobody has heard of. I believe he's the most well rounded commentator I'VE ever listened to. We're lucky he's involved! Cheers PM.

He's an absolute beast. He commentates on the Junior World Champs as well, getting the names right for the riders in the 65cc and 85cc classes. He's definitely got a few trademark sayings. "All of a sudden..." and "lighting the back end up" spring to mind. I honestly think he's one of the best to ever sit behind the mic.
