Hampshire's bike seems good enough and the GG looked good when they where on the track. The riders all seem to like them. He has not blamed the bike at all and takes full responsibility for his results. Class act all day, every day.
It's a combination of things that have led to Vialle not having the results outdoors that one would expect. 1. The 250 class has no age limit here, so it's chalked full of super fast guys of all ages. It's no joke even outdoors. 2. Bike production rule and track differences means he's having to figure out a set up from scratch. 3.The higher speeds on ama tracks combined with the crazy aggression in ama is something he has to get use to. 4. Since he came to the states, practically all of his time has been devoted to supercross training/testing, so he isn't as prepared for outdoors as he would normally be (he's now an ama rider, so he's sacrificing in that way).
Perhaps I’m too harsh on the bike, but he went from being on the best equipment. To being noticeably underpowered compared to Star and HRC has leap frogged Honda into a machine on par with Star or close to it. Perhaps his bike is as good as Pro Circuits, perhaps not. But, at no point has the KTM groups 250f been the bike to have in the states. It’s always been second fiddle. Since it was first raced her in the mid 2000s.
Not trying to argumentative but I am just not seeing the Star Horsepower advantage they once had this year. IMHO all the bikes are competitive based on horsepower. A few years ago it was obvious. Now any color can put multiple bikes at the front on a start and not one pulls on the other during the race like they used to. They seem so close it all comes down to the rider getting the power down.

I thought Vialle would be doing better. 250 Class has some depth. Shimoda not doing as well as last year but maybe he hasn't hit his stride yet?
From what I hear, Hampshire has a different motor than any of the other Austrian riders. I don’t think vialle has that motor just yet.
Vialle has been on that motor since Hangtown. Hampshire was the only one with it at Fox.
I stand corrected then! Anyways, I think vialle is doing quite well aside from Lakewood.
Hampshire starts outside the top 15 (or 15) more often than not
Interesting that RJ would get it before the 2x world champ.
Isn’t his bike the same as Hampshire?
