I love that despite the risk of off season races, Herlings is a racer and seems to love this race. He is the best there ever has been in the sand and as a fan anytime Jeffery races I want to watch.

Funny thing is , he is not really a crasher like JS7 was . JS7 had loads of small crashes and loads of huge ones. Herlings doesn't crash that much .but he seems to get injured every time he hits the ground. I'd say Tim G has crashed 5 times more than herlings and barely ever gets injured.

Which doesn't change the fact that Herlings has the most GP wins, or that the MX2 class is a World Championship. Wink The only one's trying to discredit Herlings accomplishments are those who, in your words, are hurt by the truth. Unfortunately, I went down the rabbit hole which I regret since that was not what the thread was about.

Unlucky deal from a downed rider. Do we really need to shit on him in this thread? Isn't there 50 other MXGP vs AMA or Tomac vs Herlings threads for that?

You people really think KTM should let herlings go? And pick up who in replacement? Yeah I’m sure ktm is bummed he’s hurt again, but he’s got 4 months to heal from a broken collarbone, they aren’t worried. Sucks for Jeffrey, but he’s not missing anything other than a couple weeks of testing, which he’s already proven this year that he doesn’t really need it to win.

This talk about Herlings not being one of the best is silly. Dude is a bad man on a dirt bike. But man is he frail. That crashed looked so benign. Feel for the guy because if he had bones like Jeremy Sewer he would have about 9 MXGP titles by now haha

It’s surprising because it looks like he’s built very solidly.

Best- Scotts damper and suspension valved/sprung Worst- Dying plastic parts black to make my 2006 look like the 2008. Coolest- PC Titanium slip on. I had the same pipe as Villopoto, Strope, Weimer, etc. Tell you what that was the meanest sounding 250F in the C class.

Apparently, there is a significant percentage of the market that wants the experience to be as close to that of an amusement park ride or monorail as possible. Less skill, more speed and just along for the ride. Just a shortcut to the end goal: faster. Some say it's safer to not need to shift, clutch and such, but I'd point to quads and sit-down jet-skis and say, "really? How'd that work out for them?". That's part of the beauty of the 125 class - if you messed up anything, it was immediately apparent. It made the racing more exciting...
