Common? By that you mean when a former champ switches to another team and wins. That's exactly my point. If Sexton had not locked in a win this early in the season maybe it'd be a different situation. As such, the call for pitchforks on Sexton are overkill at this point. He's very much still in the season points race.

Definitely put on clinic last nite…..should be interesting to see where he stacks up in 450 class…plenty of riders dominated on 250”s that struggle in the 450 class…but anybody’s guess…I want to like him, being an American but would like to see some genuine humility and respect for other racers…the tough guy metal militia grift isn’t working for me…maybe go with a Cali surf dude vibe…flame away

Witnessing Deegan from the stands last night, his corner speed was vastly superior to anyone. Dude was on the gas before the apex of the corners while everyone else was rolling through. I’m not much of a Deegan fan but that was extremely impressive and fun to see.

2/1/2026 10:22am A reminder that it is possible to accept Deegans speed and race craft and dislike his personality. He put on a clinic last night. It's clear no other rider had anything for him, be it fitness, consistency, or flat out speed.

2/1/2026 7:12am It was a fast track where all riders are flat out and punishes riders for any mistake. Not much opportunity to make up any time and you really had to hit your marks. The bunching of the qualifying times was good foreshadowing of what to expect.

ricky said it was the hardest track this year. im not buying it. did that sand really help? i couldnt tell. pretty boring yea. 48 second lap times and some insane speed thru many of those sections by the top guys. 48 sec times in a friggin football stadium...

number 96. dude is disciplined, mentally solid, fast. he ain't goin' away, and he ain't choking I think Webb is too gritty and consistent, he will outlast the rest of the pack, Tomac, Sexton, Roczen, etc, but Hunter is the real problem

This is the classic case of the Glendale effect. You have a very big NFL stadium, so naturally the jumps are forced to be huge to fill up the space. The result is very long run-ups to each jumps and very spaced out rhythms making it easy for the riders to hit the rhythms perfectly -- because they have so much time to get enough speed for each jump. Also note the massive straightaway is splitting all the rhythms so no chance for a proper long rhythm -- instead quick short easy triple-triples or just a simple triple before a...

St. Louis 2024. He got 4th at the triple crown he raced last year but missed the others due to injury. He has the most triple crown wins currently sitting at 8 overall wins and 17 individual race wins. Cooper Webb sits in 2nd place with 5 triple crown wins.
