I think the fact the nose doesn’t show up is throwing you off. And he’s always had a bigger chin. He has recent pictures of him post op and he looks nearly identical to before the crash.

Man from the videos I have seen he looks great. I know that had to be tough with all the surgery he had. Hope it all works out for him and he can return to riding soon.

I hope he makes full recovery , if he chooses to return to racing cool if not that's cool too. hes one tough dude for sure.

Feel so bad for the dude. A girl I knew in high school rolled her car and had to have facial reconstructive surgery. She looked like an entirely different person to the point that if I saw her out and about I would have no idea that it was her until she came up to say hi. It was pretty tragic.

A few buddies and I were helping Mat Hoffman move some ramps to his house the week following his concussion from the Big Air comp in 2007ish at the X-games. He accidently blew through some stop signs, which makes me wonder if he should have even been driving that day. I sometimes am concerned for him and Pastrana with all the head injuries they have. I remember Travis being interviewed after a Gravity Games crash. He was making no sense at all - like a boxer post fight from a K.O. .. Hope Barcia has a safe and successful recovery.

Dude was pulling top 5's this year and last. He needs to get healthy season, yes. But that doesn't mean he should hang it up.

Note to the series...next year when you release the track map show the dirt in Daytona as native black farm dirt/sand instead of imported clay. The track map showed nothing but a straight rhythm track connected by 90 degree turns and this was nothing like that. To say I was happy to see very little clay was an understatement. I knew as soon as I saw the dirt that the track was going to be good for the finals. THIS is the way Daytona was meant to be. Rough, gnarly, whooped out. There were multiple lines all night and passing...
