I know a lot of people didn’t seem to like it, but I honestly enjoyed it. Was good racing all night. Plenty of chances for guys to pass in long rythme sections, and most of the corners had multiple lines for guys to take unlike some of the one line tracks we’ve seen recently.

I thought the races we're great. From qualifiers to lcq to mains. Some nasty get off's. I really hope AP is good , and hope that leg isn't broke.

I was wondering about Jace Owen also. Was running 9th for long time then suddenly last, and looked like he wasn’t running anymore. Wasn’t sure if it was a get off, or bike problems.

Regardless I’m hoping for the best with AP, and all rest of guys who had a rough night.

Yah I love it when in both mains there’s hardly any racing for the lead and everyone just plays follow the leader. EPIC BRO!!!!

Note to the series...next year when you release the track map show the dirt in Daytona as native black farm dirt/sand instead of imported clay. The track map showed nothing but a straight rhythm track connected by 90 degree turns and this was nothing like that.

To say I was happy to see very little clay was an understatement. I knew as soon as I saw the dirt that the track was going to be good for the finals. THIS is the way Daytona was meant to be. Rough, gnarly, whooped out. There were multiple lines all night and passing was done with brains rather than just being a ram-fest.

We need more racing like this in the Supercross series.

Did you guys see Reed square up Roczen in the sand after KR passed him ? Looked sick.
He didn’t hold him off for long but still rode great to keep him honest for a while

I thought the track was cool. One rhythm lane had a launch to it!

I’m surprised JS7 didn’t show up for rhythm lanes.

Lots of clean racing because people were busy.concentrating. I can hear Dunge now, “ hitting your marks”.

Imagine how stiff and good your suspension would have be to survive the wall jump launch? Magic

Not much scrubbing going on, some but 24.

One of the better Daytonas I can remember. Track had many different options and plenty of opportunity to pass, you just had to sack up and send it! Tomac and Baggett WFO off the wall was one of the coolest things of the season so far.

I've got a draft fantasy pool going with a couple of my friends. I've never cheered for Musquin so hard and he's not even my rider in the pool. I wanted him to pass Coop so bad even though Coop is on my team. I just want the points to close up a bit. Great race and series.

Just like he did to Tomac last week in the heat. Not a fan.

We need more of the same for two or three more rounds. Talladega, Atlanta, Kansas City, Michigan and Texas motor speedways would make great venues.

I love watching it on TV, been to it a few times and its always epic. Viewing angles are challenging, you have to move around a lot.

I know my opinion counts even less than the usual two cents, but I can't understand how someone who raced or even rode a mx bike in the weekend can enjoy a race on a track like that.
6 U turns and a few cangaroo-style straights.
Great racing? Where?
That's stupidcross at his best.

Can't wait for the great outdoors.

Gawd dang Dave.....very well said , and I couldn't agree more!! That frying pan , blue grooved clay is definitely easier to ride SX , but the kind of dirt they had last night , really made the event awesome. That stuff was rough as hell , and was really fun to watch those dude hammer in it.

I really liked the track! The bikes can do anything these days...so they need to make the tracks harder in my opinion. I loved the sand section (especially off the start) and that long rhythm lane was great as well (mess it up and they lose serious time). More mistakes make for better racing (in my opinion).

Funnest race of the year to watch. Need more like it.

Eli rode like a Beast and slayed the Beast of a track called Daytona (aka Beast), the Beast was also favorable to Forkner who was also Beast-Like
