Horrible track and the rain didn’t help. There are so many great MX tracks around the world and yet they ( MXGP) is going to have a race on something like that.

Herlings is doing this for years already. Because he is no great starter, this way he can often turn really tight on the inside where most guys are running wide by the high speed. This way he often gains several positions again. I think it’s simply some kind of damage control.

Did herlings just gain about 20 seconds in a few laps? Insane

There are some names on the entry list that should know by now that the world championship isn’t for them. I really try to understand when the FIM / national federations will step in and do something about it, some are lapping 25 seconds a lap slower then the fastest guys and often cause very dangerous situations and some of the lappers are a true hazard for themselves and others on the track.

Yeah, it's really strange he is so off the pace on such track. I would have put my money on him for this race, but who knows, maybe he'll find more speed for tomorrow's races
