Like this bar, No more Pro Taper? That explains why they are all sold out

I’ve taken a pipe cutter to the last 3/8” or so of the twinwall bar mount portion with success. Gives you a little more room to bring your levers in, which I see a lot of guys struggling with on twinwalls or handlebars in general. Bringing the levers in towards the center helps them not break or bend in a crash, and generally sets you up with a better attack position. Twinwalls 999 is my favorite, very low bar, so low the crossbar pad will make heavy contact on the bar mount fasteners and wear the pad away pretty good...

6’ and have ran nothing but 997 Twin Walls on everything since they came out in 2001

5'8", Renthal Fatbar 672. I didnt realise how much I liked this bar until I got on an RMZ450 and they were OEM fitment. I used them on everything ever since. I prefer the look of the Twinwalls, and I know the TW991 has the exact same dimensions, but they just dont feel the same. I cant explain why or understand it, they just dont.

Pro taper Windham bars Renthals eqiv = 971 which was once originally called the Windham bend. Then RC started using them. So it was the Windham/RC bend until Windham ended up on a team with pro taper sponsorship.

Renthal 821 McGrath fatbar and 983 Villopoto/Stewart 7/8 bar. The McGrath bend is very low. I like them both at 5'6

I’d guess the closest is Tusk MX bend. Same spec aluminum as name brand and its fat bar. I have Tusk MX bend on a Mod’d Honda CRF250F trial bike/pit bike and like it. I didn’t know ProTaper didn’t do bars anymore. I’m not the most well informed.

6’2” 185lbs. Renthal 839 on a yz450F. 4mm higher and 3mm less sweep than stock. It’s perfect.

Twinwall 997 2018 YZ 250 F. 5'7 140 pound 54 y/o just dusting the boots back off.

On my stock Honda, I love my 839. Never felt the need to change.

5'9 YZ250X Pro Taper Woods High Bend. Literally walked into a bike shop after bending the stock bars and that was the only bar they had in stock. I'm not picky on bars and have ran them for 2 seasons now.

I went with the 'magoo' bend.
