In Dan’s defense. Last year I ran into him at the Barber Motorcycle Museum the day after the Birmingham SX. And he was one of the nicest in the industry I’ve ever met. I swear we talked at least half an hour. About that SX round. Street bikes. Vintage bikes. I showed him pics of my bikes. Etc. and it was a genuine, interesting moto head conversation. Really personable guy.

The real root of the problem is that he just doesnt give a single fuck about how his actions affect other ppl. One of the rules of life that most civilized humans try to live by is to make an honest attempt not to burden other people with the things you do. Clean up after yourself, dont litter, put away the shopping cart…etc. You can do whatever the hell you want with your own life, just dont be a burden on me. Some people are too lazy to throw something away in a trash can so they just throw it...

idk. He had 6 podiums this season including a win, in 14 starts. I'm not sure you can call that hovering around 7-10 most of the season. But the competition isnt getting any easier either. Webb, Tomac, Hunter will all be much better than 2024 most likely.
