i have a build im trying to put together its come from scratch, started off with a locked up 125 on a apollo frame and i got the motor to free up and rode it for about a month, bike felt way underpowered with me being used to my crf150rb that i sold a few months back. i went on amazon at a time i didnt have a high budget and just wanted to get a bigger motor, so i ordered a 140cc and put it onto my frame and have had it about a month and a half, have gone through proper break in, aswell as hard break in after a bit of proper, everything seated perfectly and runs perfect. no bog, no leaks other than from my carb needing a clean. its fun and all but I want more power or responsiveness. def getting a 24 or 26mm nibbi or whats best for this motor, i want to do internal upgrades but im not sure if my head/motor is a yx or lifan style, so im holding off on buying parts till i can figure out for sure. im thinking of doing the cam, clutch, exhaust, race head or upgraded head not sure the proper term for it but i want to be able to make the bike run perfect and have a good amount of power for this motor. once my budget gets a bit higher when i start my new job im either getting a 250F or ill buy a race ready 190 or 201cc to make a supermoto build out of my pit frame. any advice? or tips or anything really im a bit new to pitbike builds and want to get everything right.image 143

We all start somewhere, sadly most around here are too busy stroking their egos or piling on to offer up any help. I googled images of the motors you talked about and I’m fairly confident you have a yx140, the lifan 140 has smooth valve covers top and bottom where as your photo shows cooling fins on the round covers.
Good luck with your build

The only choice from Japan is a DRZ-50.

CRF/TTR: China

KLX: Thailand

Whole pit bike scene is pretty much China made excluding bbr parts, Including OEM.

PW50 and TTR110 are still made in Japan.
