It’s getting fucking rediculous, there are extremely cheap and simple upgrades Yamaha could do to these bikes to really help them out if they ever got off their asses and gave them some attention. 1. Get the damn four stroke style swing arm on these bikes for God’s sake! It would save them money since they can share parts between bikes, and all it would require is a change in the machining done post process to the extruded piece the linkage mounts to. It’s simple as hell and honestly it’s almost insulting they can’t make this simple yet extremely effective...

I wouldn't say I have my stuff figured out. A lot of my stuff isn't... I'm divorced, I've lived alone for the last 7 years, I learn everyday how to best myself as a father and I don't know much about anything else other than SX or MX... I do have the luxury not to rely on anyone's paycheck. I've made my money. I paid my divorced settlement in 1 deed signature and 1 wire transfer. Never blew money. Always invested and most importantly, I'm living very modestly compare to what I could be doing... I live in a "cheap"...

MX race formats need to be looked at, there's so much that could be improved. For one, it sucks spending a whole day to spin two 5-10 minute moto's that can be 6 hrs apart that cost you $45 and whatever other mandatory membership you need for the day that costs an additional $40-50, and you might get a 5 minute practice before the racing. Plus, most peoples attitudes at the track are based off their ego. There's a reason off road racing numbers are growing, more riding, friendlier crowd, more fun. Just my .02

As far as Rookie seasons go. Chads assignment was about as tough as it gets. Dude was up against the Ricky Carmichael at his prime coming off his best ever SX season. The guy who dethroned the king FFS. Reed actually won more races than him. The only rider in history who might have done better in that situation is Jeremy McGrath had he been born 10 years later. But had that happened one or both of their careers would be nowhere near what they were. What other rider in their first could have actually dethroned Ricky at his prime...
