1/2/2019 3:37pm Hi all, I started a thread a long time ago asking if anyone owed their health to moto. Usually when you think about motocross and health, injuries come to mind... Anyone who's spent any amount of time on dirtbikes had surely had their fair share of them. But when I ask the question, I mean are there any of you riders that WERE or ARE overweight and owe your fitness to motocross. Would you be a total chunker if it werent specifically for your love of motocross and the dedication to fitness it takes. Most of us have come back...

12/27/2018 1:50pm Sounds like its an impressive machine but I'm doubting it is as "moto" capable as an FX. Glad there's other options out there but I know my FX is EVERY bit as "moto" as my 14 YZ250F was. Slightly better actually. Depending on which sprocket I have on "stock easily cruises at 55-60" 13t front 50-55.

12/27/2018 1:50pm I won't lie I want one, but my plated 03' is hanging tough, dialed in and paid for so...... maybe next year
I've seen one cruising around San Clemente, Team Green ? You're right about it being quiet, it went right by me a couple times and I was surprised how quiet it was. I thought it was a 250L until I got a closer look.

12/26/2018 5:25pm Went to Pala...on the bike...aka "Rode to Pala"... Got there and took off of my Adventure Jacket that was loaded down with water, phone, 1st aid kit...etc. & dropped my TLD Baja tool pack at the "OB Pits brought to you by Bud Light"...and...hit the Vet track! Like I said...this is a street legal MXer...ESPECIALLY when compared to other "Street Legal Enduros" that're on the market. It was waaaaay beer on the jumps than ANYTHING I've ridden that comes with a license plate...EVER. I added 1.5 turns on the rear spring, 2 clicks of Compression and 1/2 turn of High...

12/18/2018 3:51pm Yeah I have to agree. Some constructive feed back would be, to not name drop as much (it’s ok Jace, we know you know a lot of people), don’t cut off your guests mid story as much and let them tell there story. And you are far cooler than I will ever be by the sounds of it haha. Good...

12/7/2018 8:16pm Man you seam to read into things that are not there a lot of the time and kind of state them as facts. The only truth is, a lot of us will never know the reasons why things did or did not work out. We all love to talk about our favourite riders and bench race, but saying who or...

12/6/2018 7:03pm It’s a race that fascinates me being from another country, very different to the desert races in Australia. The other thing I had always been curious about (until reading someone’s post on this thread) was the continuing use of the Honda 450X when there is other brands that are more modern with a ton of desert race parts available. Good...

Been racing national hare and hound's, District 37 Desert, and the Big 6 series for most of the last decade. Desert racing is very unique, and Baja is an animal all on its own. Do you have any desert racing experience, or desert riding experience in general? A lot of guys want to go down to baja and race, but are unfamiliar with the speeds and terrains. Its a serious commitment. A lot of the baja guys race NHHA/D37/UDRA/SIDRA/MRAN/BITD for years before attempting baja. Like Titan1 and Xeno said the CRF450X is an amazing bike. The 06-08x is hands...

12/5/2018 1:42pm Chad Reed has been and will remain my favourite racer for many years to come. 12/5/2018 1:34pm Talking about chad reed and business... Reed is one of the most successful business people in our sport. when you look at his networth compared to every other rider, its fair to say he isn't dumb. he knows what hes doing. the whole chad reed blaming bikes stuff is bullshit. he never blames the bike, he wants to improve the bikes. it isn't about saying its shit all together but wanting to improve the brand and make it better. theirs a difference. And we cant say it doesn't work.. because every time he has his say and they make change...

12/5/2018 1:20pm To be fair, he's not out there trying to develop and set up a bike for the general public, or even Cooper Webb. He's setting a bike up for him. He can explain to Cooper what he feels from the fork lugs, or what he's trying to achieve and why he's going that way, but he doesn't know what Cooper wants. If he wants it and the team dont want to give it to him then he has every right to voice his opinion after the fact, which is what he's doing in that interview. Especially if he feels it...

12/5/2018 1:16pm Reeds won on every manufactured bike hes been on. (except that white turd that he was injured on). And i don't think he is blaming bikes. I think he wants to challenge brands and make them better. Improve the brand and have a say in building a bike he is racing. He spends a lot of time around the GP Super bike guys and the riders have a huge part in saying what they want on bikes. You could say that's where he would get these ideas from. In one of the JGR interviews, Gibbs talks about how blown away...
