I have some throwaway/unusable 4k 120fps footage of the boys ripping AM practice in some nice morning light. Thought some of you might enjoy seeing the different styles of some of the top riders in slow motion. Make sure you change it to 4k 60 on settings! Nothing earth shattering here in terms of a topic, but I was watching some old early '90s sx races last night and was struck by a few things: 1. Only the top 5 guys could hit the "fast rhythm". Nobody else could consistently do it. This is why we'd have these huge charges from the back of the pack, as the top guys could cut several seconds a lap off the rest because they were hitting a much more difficult line. Got back from the Inaugural AHRMA Moto-Fest National in Daytona .. Was a resounding badass event !! X-Country was fanatstic and the Moto track was designed and built by former World Champ and AMA Hall of Famer Trampas Parker. Track was OUTSTANDING. Super fun,safe jumps and provided really,really good racing. Average lap times were 2:15 ish . no dust, perfect traction. Dad passed away in May and need to get my childhome ready to sell been finding some ol pics. So many good memories here really going to miss it. Wouldn't change a thing SoCal Moto in the 70's and 80's was awesome! There is a thread in non moto. dont go vegan and work out to cut as much weight as possible. its better to be 230, exercising and eating enough to fuel your body than to starve yourself at 210 and have no energy.
