I remember the time I was on my DT100D and my friend passed me on his YZ100E like I was standing still. Great times.

Very cool! I’m 58, with additional padding also, and still enjoy getting out there on the old bikes. Keep it up

I am about to turn 55 in a few days. I have not ridden in many years. My son is playing tennis in college so I have time now.

Yeah I know what you mean. It was much more terrifying than it was when I was 15 years old. I went out there with the plan to just get comfortable and kind of putt around. Then the killer instinct took over after about lap 5 and I just wanted to better my lap times. Then get some decent air...

Hey y'all.. Looking for a little help. I have a 1978 YZ100E that has a Mikuni VM30SS carb on it (stock) I cannot find that specific carb anywhere. the Mikuni catalog doesn't have it listed nor is there a comparison chart anywhere. I went out on a limb and ordered the VM30-83 but it is much larger than the stock...

I would give re-mx.com a try They carry a lot of XR75 parts. I know for sure they have pistons. Cylinders might be tough but they are out there.

Here is my 1975 XR75. I rescued it a couple of years ago. The guy told me that it was a 1974 and the tank color would indicate so. However the VIN on the motor and frame says it is a 1975. That worked out for me because 1975 is what I really wanted. The motor is bone stock except...

I picked this thing up 2 weeks ago. What a blast from the past. I don't really think I will have to do anything to it except update the side plate plastics. It runs like a champ. I took it out to a local practice track on Friday and ran a few laps. Then I fell over and broke the...

Travis Bennett Started a new thread 1980 YZ125G suspension

Hey everyone. I picked up a 1980 YZ125G for a couple hundred bucks and decided to build it. I want to put a more current and forgiving suspension on it. I had one as a kid and they rode like a pogo Stick. Has anyone put something more current on one? something that has little to no modification to make...

That's awesome, Travis! Love seeing these old photos from back in the day. Woodland was our first track as well, in 1977. Still follow Jeff Cropper, Rowdy Blasdell, Mike McCormic, Eric Hall, and Jim Anderson on social media and stay in touch with those guys. Remember clearing the doubles on my CR80 when I first got it. Ah, the good old days! Woodland still runs and I still ride out there. The trees are gone, but the track remains and is a blast to ride on. Thanks for sharing!
