1980 YZ125G suspension

Hey everyone. I picked up a 1980 YZ125G for a couple hundred bucks and decided to build it. I want to put a more current and forgiving suspension on it. I had one as a kid and they rode like a pogo Stick. Has anyone put something more current on one? something that has little to no modification to make it fit?

I've built a few updated shocks for my 79 YZ400 and my 81 YZ465.

I replace the seal head with a RT one, swap the old piston for a 46mm out of a modern shock and add a fox twin clicker reservoir with compression adjuster. Then top it off with a proper spring for your weight. It's about $400 and worlds better than stock.

I also have a Fox Twin Clicker for my 81 and it is slightly better than my modified OEM unit as the rebound adjuster has better refinement on the Fox than the 80/81 OEM shock.
