I'm not sure AMA had any choice here. By all reports, RJ and jcoop left Vegas Saturday night planning to race. AMA had those conversations and put things in motion assuming Deegan would be out. Deegan inc didn't withdraw, continued on as is nothing happened and the world revolves around them, and basically dared AMA to tell them they couldn't come. Deegan would have certainly went scorched earth and played the victim if they told him he was out, so here we are. We'll head to the race with no idea if he's truly ready to go or just wants...

Not sure about the fining, though Webb’s nod to his faith has been, “I wanna give it up to the good lord” and then running through the sponsor Rolodex when he’s on the box. For a while he only said that part when he won, now it seems more consistent as long as he’s on the podium.
