You never know. I heard an industry guy sued a track he's ridden for decades and got it shut down and the industry has circled the wagons around him. He can give Lucas a referal for a good lawyer, I guess.

Rich Taylor is a scumbag. That is all.

I hope Rich is compensating mxxcdez fairly. Guy is working his ass off in this thread.

I’ve said it for years, the Vidalites give a trainer to much credit, Aldon never won a single race.. If Johnny O had moved to Florida like RC wanted, we wouldn’t even know who Aldon is Is the Aldon Era over? No, he is a great trainer who is currently training average riders. Move Jett to KTM and train with Aldon and the Aldon era starts over again. Aldon is great at training and marketing , he made million of dollars taking credit for turning champions into champions.

Hopefully it’s the start of the “don’t over train to the point of burn out so careers can be longer” era…

Or maybe the OP was just sharing a thread about how these 2 guys have been performing bloody well.. Not every 250 post has to be about or include Deegan

Maybe this is a crazy take, but if my 80hp electric bike without a clutch just went full-throttle without my input, you want to know what I'm NOT going to do? Just calmly throw my leg back over it and ride off....on an endurocross track, nonetheless lol

Late to the topic, but I saw the Gypsy Tales clip a few days ago and was like okay relationships whether they be friendly or business related sometimes do "fracture" and didn't think much of it after. HOWEVER. Watching this interaction between Daniel and Ricky was ROUGH. That was real distain from Ricky toward Daniel. You can see after the Bassflug clip DB moves over to A: get out of the VIP tours way and B: to make sure Ricky's chat with the group doesn't get picked up on the handheld mic. Ricky could have walked right past DB and...

You seem emotional and invested in defending RC, so I'm not really going to waste my time other than to say nobody said RC is universally hated. Outside of TV he's quite revered. He's not very good at broadcasting but in NBC's eyes RC is the star of the show, so yes he had a receptive ear at NBC.

I got to say I have never seen somebody that claims to be so unattached to the situation defend one sides reputation so vigorously all the while trying to lay blame on the other. It' actually has me rethinking RC had more of a part than Danial is willing to say.

Actually he did a fine job of laying it all out without saying too much. If you where paying attention he singled out a co-worker that threw him under the bus with NBC very early on. The way I read it that person was long down the road. You can decide who it was.

No doubt. RC is a complete asshole. Not to mention a lousy broadcaster.

I’ve never seen that either. Wow! Almost funny if it wasn’t real. To openly insult Blair in front of other people while Blair’s trying to do his job. RC is an insecure little prick and needs to gtfo of the booth. He sucks at announcing. DB “he hit the boat”. lol

RC was a great racer. He is not a great announcer. Blair and Stew in the box, JT on ground. Or, if they want two on the ground, Weege and Stew in Box, JT and Blair on ground.

He is sponsored by Monster and gets paid by them whether he is on the broadcast team or not. I also believe he is getting paid by NBC as well.

Ding ding ding...

I'll pull the band-aid. I think DB was doing his job too good and becoming more assertive in his segments and becoming the darling of social media and forums and RC got territorial and talked to the guy at NBC (who already had a problem with DB ) who then called DB in and reminded him of his place and told him to tone it down and sit in the corner like a good boy. DB is holding back in his comments about RC.

I'm hoping RC's days of destroying the art of play by play commentary will be over soon due to the arrival of Stew. The broadcasters clearly think you have to have premier class championships to have the job - and there aren't many that do. Stew does and he is far superior to RC as a commentator in that he provides actual analysis informed by his deep understanding of the sport.

“The Main-Dude at NBC sucks.” And…there are other people that, instead of being threatened by Daniel (and his vastly superior skills on the mic), could have stood up for Daniel… But, fragile little egos and some weird sort of entitlement kept men…well, a certain man, from acting like fucking men. Thus, a certain hero in this sport is no longer “a hero” in this sport…to me. So, uh, it’s like that. Daniel’s clearly the best person with a mic that’s covered Supercross and he’s certainly…BY FAR…the best “man on the ground”. I especially loved the segment at the end of...
