I don't care who you root for, but anyone who isn't making it a point to just enjoy watching one of the all time greats do it in real time is really missing out. Not a big Honda guy or Lawrence brothers fan but sure do appreciate what they're doing. Deegan might be the new Windham. Great rider, could have had a lot more wins in a different era, but raced against the goat. I'm sure he'll continue to improve and win some races, but not sure we've seen Jett or hunter's ceiling yet either and there's a long ways...

Yeah, it's a tough crowd in here about Tomac. First, Tomac crashed in a way at Pala that would have made me retire. He could've really been seriously hurt from that crash or even paralyzed. Second, is that this bike is new to him in the outdoors. Tomac is faster than what he is showing but you can tell he isn't comfortable on the bike yet. He is not willing to push. I don't blame him at all. I'm just glad he's out there.

All bullshit aside, Deegans charges through the pack these few weeks have been more than impressive

Overall, since jumping to pro in 2025, I’d say yes. He has shown the ability to win in both disciplines in a short amount of time, while showing brilliance in supercross. He is already showing big improvement this year as well. Vets and young guys in the 250 class have been all over the place. Guys like Kitchen, Shimoda, Hymas, Hammaker, etc. have yet to take the next step despite being established in the 250 class. Young guys like Ryder D, Bennick, Beaumer, etc. are very inconsistent.
