Yep. This right here. For one moto, pure speed, NO ONE beats James. I've watched a LOT of races and racers over the years. Going WAY back. I've never seen anyone faster than Bubba if you're only talking pure speed on a Motocross bike. Yep, even faster than RC.

Yeah, I'm an old school guy. Injuries and mechanical DNF's have always been a part of the sport. Why should we change it now? A part of Motocross, to me, is building a bike that will last the whole race/moto/series, AND a rider having enough SMARTS not to crash. Dungey had enough smarts to consistently finish races and WIN championships...
