Not sure what happened off the start, but he was in last for a while, now he’s 15th and almost a minute back.
He crashed twice on the first 2 laps, he had about a 12th place start, went down shuffled back to last, and then went down again and was about 20 seconds back of 2nd to last place (37 seconds back of 1st). Really weird ride from him.
Thunder Ridge is an awesome spot

We sprung for one of the tables when tickets went on sale. Close parking, food, and we can see 95% of the track.
We watched Friday Practice from the hill yesterday. Sight lines from there were pretty good.
This is the type of event SMX should be. It doesn’t make up for Columbus, but it’s a step in the right direction. The Ozarks in general are beautiful and there’s a ton to do here.

Davies just has so much style and speed. You watch him racing with the others and he’s always scrubbing and whipping the bike harder and more aggressive than everyone.

Not really…. But the lines are really long. Food line took almost an hour right after the LCQ’s.
