I was really disappointed to see Lux Turner had resigned with BarX. And now here he is, pushing his bike off the track again. Smh. Lux deserves a better motorcycle...

Crowd look pretty large! Track 'looks' good on TV, too. Been there twice. A really nice area in NY to visit IMHO. Grabbed a visit to Cooperstown on one trip.

Just turned 70 and not at all down hill. Have 4 bikes and get to the track a couple of times a year on my 2stroke. Retirement is awesome. There is a lot to look forward to for motocrossers in their youth - my first race was at 16 as soon as I could drive myself to the track. Change your poll to "70 Plus - can't wait to ride this week".

I noticed this as well. I'm kind of bummed because I felt like Josh had the ability to bring back some of that old MXA glory. Say what you will about (the now 79 year old) Jody, but he built MXA up into something of an institution. Before RacerX or even "The Racing Paper", there was MXA. I think MXA needs to be preserved the way 2-strokes need to live on. Josh had the ability to make that happen. No disrespect to Daryl and Dennis but they don't have that "je ne sais quoi" needed in contemporary video-based media. The...

Maybe I missed it in the 23 pages of Jett vs Deegs BS, but in my 12 years of going to Washougal that's the biggest crowd I've seen there. Every hillside was packed. They were at least 30 short on porta johns - lines there were ridiculous. Getting in and out must have been fun for those in cars. I rode my DL800 up and went around the jam each way - saved me at least 2 hours each time. There were a lot of Deegan fans there. Many have clearly never sat on a motocross bike. Track held up...

Definitely in agreement he should’ve been penalized per the rules, but as far as him slowing down, letting HD get by then going again, that all happened in a matter of seconds. My thought process would’ve been the same as Jett’s probably was in the moment, “shit I almost just ate it, my brother is getting away, and here comes ankle biter, I gotta go”

Some old heads at NBC have convinced them that “television is about storytelling” so all the production meetings are focused on generating storylines that they can write scripts around and shoot interviews about. Then they can pepper the broadcast with those stupid little video clips of the riders answering specific questions about the storylines the production wants to portray. Because just reacting to the unfolding competition in front of them is not enough!!

Over the last couple of races JT keeps trying to create this “Are the Lawrence’s going to start fighting” narrative. Like how fucking gay and petty do you have to be that you want to try and create beef between bothers for our entertainment? Is moto that desperate for story lines that we have to get family fighting each other? Watching Hunter having to explain in a post race presser that he’s not mad at his brother for racing him for a title is fucking weak. Part of me wishes one of them would just come out like the ankle...
