You know I’ve watched the entire MXGP season so far on TV and I can say this - having far fewer riders on the gate makes absolutely zero difference to the spectacle. Sexton is the biggest let down

Don't forget the engine builder who was very unprofessional on Jorge his Instagram. If this isn't proof of the fact that they need to clean house from TOP to BOTTOM, then nothing is! If they want to keep Sexton they really need to start firing people.

If they fire and hire the right people, Sexton will probably give it another try.

I’m guessing he returns on the ‘27 KX. But, let’s see who’s who and who’s avail as this season progresses and we get into the SMX finals & all that. Let’s see if Kawasaki has moved on by then…or soon thereafter.

Best financial decision he could do is ride out the kawi contract and just mail it in. Sure I’ll get down voted but it’s the truth. No one is gonna sign him to any real money. And he’ll never win a championship again. It’s almost a guarantee that the money in his contract now is the last big money contract he’ll ever have. Take the summer off, surf, get the knee fixed and ride around in 4-10 next few years. Win a SX here or there and sleep on a stack of money.

It was odd to me that he went home last week instead of straight to an MRI with one of the many fantastic knee specialists within an hour of Thunder Valley. Chase would be wise to use this summer to figure out how to get past this “more to prove” shit if he wants to perform at his highest level.

Hmmmm... It took him 5 days to figure out he had a torn ACL? Seems like Monday at the latest he would have had that checked out. Wonder if it's just an excuse so he doesn't have to finish the season?

This. Why do so many of you think it is impossible for Chase to have made a mistake? Everyone makes mistakes. Add to the scenario that he is clearly not focused or happy lately. Stressed out. Stress causes all types of mistakes in humans.

Chase looked so relaxed going off the face of the jump from the 2nd angle that he not thinking and on auto pilot. You can take this both ways. Auto pilot Chase can either he made a brain fart and fucked up his timing of the brake/clutch and stalled or he can do this in his sleep and could never fuck a simple jump on press day and the bike cut out prematurely. Evidence from both sides questions both. And I don't think the 2 videos I saw give a 100% definitive answer.

He did ride the bike back the pits after the press day crash so not really sure if it was a bike malfunction. Idk, but looked very similar to a mistake I made once stalling the bike over the big table at WW ranch.

It's a worse situation than two elite riders potentially leaving Kawi. You have two elite riders not wanting to ride the bike due to safety concerns. It is clearly not a good look for Kawi and it is being allowed to grow worse. There are no available and good options for Chase to leave for a new team. Star is being labeled as potential being the last major manufacturer Chase has not ridden for. So it's an option by default, which is not a great rationale. Star simply doesn't need Chase. I think Chase is more or less forced to...

Chase will have options, he's a 450 SX and MX champ who still has the speed to win. I'm more curious about what options Kawi has, at this point. They need to clean house and start from scratch, their program is obviously not working and hasn't for a long time.
