Maybe, the bike performs well when the track is freshly built, but after the track begins to breakdown, the bike isn't responding the way james wants it. The argument is that why does he set fast lap times and all of the sudden the bike responds negatively during the race. I think he needs Villopoto's bike. Yeah, he will still...

In stock form, the crf 150r only puts out around 21 hp. The yz 125 puts out 34 hp. The big debate now is why are 150r's allowed in the 85 class and the answer is who cares. We are entering year 2 with the 150r and we have kept it stock and while there are some advantages with this...

That happened already, "The Lost Decade", Japan is actually doing better than the United States but unfortunately, the US is not learning from Japans mistakes.
If the cost is so high for a 150r, and it is easier and less expensive to own and maintain a mini 2 stroke, and the 150r is a turd, than what is everyone worried about? No one will buy the bike and the sport at the mini level will still remain a never ending black hole of a racket.
Where are you buying your 150r's? I paid $3499 out the door for two of them. A new KX 85 is $3999. I paid $3299 for a KTM mini, $3500 for ktm jr, $3800,for ktm senior, and $4500 for ktm 65. If you want to know what is expensive about the sport, it is entry level racing. We started riding...

My son rides the 150r and it only puts out about 21 hp in stock form. He regularly gets pulled in the straights against mod 85's and supermini's. So, unless you decide to extract more hp's out of the 150r, you will not be competitive.

Your are certainly right about that, Osby is flyin and is going to be the dark horse from Indiana, AC has yet to prove anything on the big bikes, let 2012 begin!

It is the economy, not because of 4 strokes being more expensive or 2 strokes being less. Less people are participating. You are right, it will take many years similiar to what Japan experienced during the 90's

My advice, stop worrying about the fans and get back to winning races. He constantly states that "I'm out here to put on a show for my fans." Well, forget about it and start thinking about keeping it on two wheel's and finish a race.

According to Sean Hilbert from Cobra Motorcycles in "Motocross Kids" on Uverse, Ryder set a Lorretta Lynn record by being the firs 5 year-old to win a national in 30 years. He must not have gotten the memo. And to check the record, he finished 41st in 2010.

I bought an 09' crf150r for $3650.00 out the door and then bought a used 08' for $2100.00. You do not have to buy a new 2012 because they are basically the same. And yes, KTM is the one making this sport so expensive at the mini level. We rode KTM from the beggining and yes it was way more...
