Kind of amazing that getting arrested was celebrated but some juvenile language on the podium leads to an apology.

I am a Deegan fan, however at both championship presentations last night, Haiden would not look the presenters in the eyes. He also did not Thank either AMA official after receiving the #1 plate, nor the Trophy. Says a lot about his upbringing. Never came close to ever winning a local championship as a youngster, but had I acted like Haiden, my Dad would have cuffed me upside the head for sure.

Davies is pretty much the anti-Deegan. Likeable, humble and took that on the chin better than any teen I know. If you can’t root for that kid, you can suck it.

The only thing worse than a sore loser, is a poor winner. I'd rather be Davies, he showed maturity and class, something Deegan knows nothing about. The troll-souls out there just can't stop jerking it to everything he does.

I tend to agree that he's got a mental edge over JuJu. I don't know all the details of JuJu posting about his arrest. But the Deegan's sure promoted the hell out of it. Merch, special gear, handcuffs on his bike. It's out of bounds for JuJu to fuck with him over it while they're telling the world how cool it is?

Personally, I hope Ju Ju's sole focus is to punt Deegan into the stands next week. Although I think his team will tell him to focus on the race and not the antics of a rider with the mentality of a middle school girl. Deegan likes to bring attention to himself, but it is not a good look for the sport. He makes it so WWE it's embarrassing.

I can’t stand people who drive reckless on public roads. You know, the same roads my wife and kids drive on. I don’t care one bit what he or anyone else does for kicks, just keep me out of it.

Dumb young kid doing dumb young kid stuff. If this is the worst thing he does in his youth, he’ll recover just fine. The biggest issue with shit like this is that if something goes wrong, it can go from dumb young kid stuff to life changing in an instant.

It used to be a long, long time ago in a land far, far away that people didn't get so grievously injured by contrary statements or name-calling. It was part of the way people interacted and communicated. Insults, derision, questioning, back and forths were part of our language. Now in the world of flat brimmed, tattooed, blue dyed haired inhabitants mentioning to someone they have lettuce in their teeth can lead to 18 months therapy and a prescription. It's a different world.
