I had an LS1 Trans Am when I was 17. The amount of street racing we did was crazy. The crazier part is I only ever had 1 friend get arrested for it.
I've read people writing some crazy stuff "this will be a turning point in his life. Good or bad". He went and sat overnight for street racing not possession of meth. He'll end up with 6 months of probation and a defensive driving class. Get real.

If I had to bet...I bet he was on Hwy 30A near Seaside, FL...which is mostly a golf cart city and where a lot of the wealthy have there 3rd or 4th home.🙄 Spring Break also just started in the area and they are on a crusade to get rid of the spring break college kids so there is zero tolerance in that area. I'm just glad there was no social media in the 80's when that area was much less developed and I hung out there every spring break and summer😂

Not just ticketed - actually arrested. I’ll be curious to see what he did. The problem with having a high performance car is that it’s way too easy to drive way too fast. I had an M3 and sold it because I liked the performance a little too much and thought I’d better sell it before I wind up doing something stupid. So I got an F-150. Cured that problem completely!

Florida doesn't play. Before a first time offender could spend up to a year in jail. Automatic 1 year loss of license. Looking at the new laws it looks like they let him off easy.
