Here's a motion graphic that shows the intake side from the Yamaha site: https://www.yamahamotorsports.com/media/video/MY27_YZ250_Hero.mp4

Release states it has a finger follower valve train. But that engine pic looks like the current cam on top of the valve buckets? Possible the followers are only on intake side?

Should be a shoe-in for 3rd. This series seems to take at least one or two steps back every year. Anyone miss the CMRC yet?

I still ride moto, no racing just ride tracks on practice days. But I live in Canada and usually can’t ride 6 months of the year. I got a snowmobile a few years ago and love it, scratches the moto itch for sure, even if it’s just a cheaper older sled. Plus it makes me look forward to shitty winter...

I'm never a fan of smaller side number plates, but these ones just look smaller because of the black piece. A set of graphics will clean that up. The front number plate looks bad now, but I thought the same thing about the 23', and it grew on me. The bike is probably great and looks fine, or at least will look fine. Sometimes change looks ugly at first. Just my $.02.

Osbornes take out was at the final race in the second last corner, if I remember right. That was his only chance for the title. Deegs had a healthy points lead with a whole race to go, he easily could of made it happen at the final round. makes a difference.

Manufacturing is not coming back to America and even if ...that would need to be a 5 to 10 year plan. Also, if it did in a big way, expect a massive increase in the toxic pollution rate to air, lands, lakes, rivers. Thousands of factories will have to dump their toxic waste somewhere, under trump there will be no epa regulations. For the Olympics in China they had to stop production until the yellow tinted air could clear, imagine that here. Any new manufacturer that decided to build a factory in America, it would be highly automated with robots...

My leatt 8.5 is the most comfy helmet I’ve ever worn. Comparing to my shoei evo, and fly formula carbon. I find the leatt also vents very wel, just as well as my formula. Been wearing the formula all the time lately because it’s so quiet and I own a yz250f, man that things loud.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to give you an update on Jake. It's been about a month since he finished outpatient rehab, and he's been hitting the therapy gym a couple of times a week. He's slowly but surely making progress, gaining a little more movement each time. Oh, and the big news is that our dad installed hand controls in Jake's truck, so now he can drive! He's really enjoying the freedom of being able to drive himself around. His favorite thing so far has been hitting up Quick Trip, getting them to pump his gas, and grabbing a...

I had a MC350 for a while back to back with my YZ250 and the 350 is staggeringly more powerful than the YZ250. The power difference from a 350 to a 450 was hard for me to discern at times. If you buy a 350 you are in for a serious upgrade in the power department. I ultimately went back to my YZ250 full time and sold the 350 because of suspension issues and power delivery made the bike hard to ride for very long.

How do you like your 24 yz250f engine compared to the previous gen? There’s so many mixed reviews about the current gen, one person says how fast it is and then the next persons saying how slow it is and bogs off the bottom. I just don’t understand how the reviews can be so mixed

Thanks! I’m comparing the low end on this bike to the low end on my 250 2t, which had a fly wheel weight, and 1 tooth bigger in the rear. Maybe not really a fair comparison. It just felt like I could carry 3rd in corners a bit easier on my 2t. Don’t really have much other 250 4t experience...

We’ll I ended up sticking with what I know and picked up a 2025 yz250f. I’ve got 2hrs ride time on it now. I’m pretty impressed, 250f’s have come along way. Could use a little more bottom end, but I also love how it screams up top. It’s a fun bike for sure. Any advice on slip ons? Man that...

Between the three the OP asked about, the yz will be the best bet. Won't have to mess with suspension settings beyond clickers, 160 isn't too heavy. Put some fuel in it and go.

So far, the suspension doesn’t bother me. The rear is excellent and the front is a bit harsh on really rough tracks. The only 250F I’ve ridden was an older CRF and I thought it was pathetic. Not much more than a fat, heavy feeling 125. This 350 is light years faster than that 250.
