I hope Ward crushes Phil. Such a crazy series.

Well by the way this series has been going, nothing is sure yet 😂 Ward and Nicoletti might come togheter in a first turn pile-up and then come togheter again before the second corner and and then both dnf the second moto.

This is unreal. I re-iterate my above comment about this being the Twilight Zone season. It's like a bad Will Ferrell movie. Half expecting Sacha Baron Cohen to show up on the start line.

So they DQ'd Wright for the whole day. He didn't get his first moto points either. Crazy.

I watched the videos more than once. I like both guys, but I saw it the same way Dylan saw it. Jess sees it a different way, and that's fine.

I did the points last night. Without the DQ, he'd be 30 points back.

How many races left?

I don’t see that being his fault for driving it in on the inside on either angle .  #1 just pu  his bike up & started going .& kinda crossed into his line. Get to the outside if your recovering from crashing & not at race speed yet. Not into the race lines. The other rider has his line going & was on the gas. Kinda week to dq the rider. For big money & points I think anyone would do the move.

Off topic from the 450 drama, Racine’s first win was my favourite feel good moment of the weekend. In 2021 at SDL, he was on his way to winning the 2nd moto, only to tangle with a lapper and crash in the very last corner (finish line was at the table top after the start), missing the podium altogether. Awesome to see him finally get it done at the very track his would’ve been first moto win slipped away from him.

Sounds like a crazy round! What’s the story with Wright’s penalty? Must have been bad for a DQ.

IMO, it was stupid.

LoL I know Fortin. Local New England pro. I saw a short clip of the Wright/Pettis incident. Didnt Wright get back going and run into Pettis? I saw some people putting it on Pettis and wondered if I missed some context

What's that saying, you can't win the championship in the first race or at round 5 for that matter but you can sure lose it!

If Ward wins the title he'll probably be put the MXdN Team.

IMO, if that's the case, Team Canada should stay home.

Completely agree,  if Pettis and Wright are healthy, and they put anyone else in the mx1 or mxopen class, don't even bother sending a team.

There's two Instagram clips on the previous page. Have a look and form your own opinion.

I'm with Dylan on this one.

IMO, Pettis and Wright can both run top 10 in the US and they're beating Ward by 60-90+ seconds.

It's one thing to replace a rider that is injured and and all the arrangements are made and it's a different thing to send guys just to send guys and say we're there even if this year is close to home.

That's my opinion. Some might not agree with it and that's fine.

Wright did get assistance outside of the pits with his gas stop at Gopher too...

I'm also with Dylan on this one (and can't believe I'm agreeing with pro). The penalty was also kinda BS, the only advantage gained was less scorched flesh from a hot motorcycle.

2025. The * year in CDN moto.

Gopher was team personnel in the pits. It's a designated area which was legal. The problem was too many people involved. The team got fined for it.

We've seen more than one mechanic work on the bikes in the US when a rider pulls in.

I didn't see a problem with it, but I understand the fine.

My mistake! I was told by a personnel member from another team that it was outside of the designated zone.
