I'm genuinely curious if any other factory team would be interested in hiring Deegan given the opportunity? Is his transition to the 450 class with Star Yamaha? (I'm assuming so?).
I know last night was a bit over the top, but it makes you wonder, does a team want to hire a rider who gets boo'd for winning and telling the crowd to suck it? Or are they looking a little further down the road and waiting for someone like Davies to hire?
I guess my question is, does his current image and attitude help or hurt his chances to be hired?
His 450 deal with Star is already done apparently. Everything can be overlooked if you're a winner.

Yes he won the title, but his supercross has been far from spectacular. Some fast, lots of sketch, and silly mistakes. At least with his outdoor skills it will keep eyes on the series. Between him and the brothers, sexton, Eli, Prado etc let’s hope we get a couple of years to see some wild racing. So ready for outdoors.

You may not agree with it, and I don’t agree with a lot of the stuff but we need to accept it. It’s not going anywhere. Antics or not, teams want talent that can win. And everyone on here talks about riders deserving rides because they draw crowds. Deegan has the ability to check both of those boxes.

Biggest thing that teams will have to consider when signing him is whether they want to put all of their eggs in one basket, because no other top guy is signing up to share a semi with that circus.

His antics were he raced better in lapped traffic than Cole did. He caught him and passed him by barley grazing his swingarm and the momentum rolled Cole off the track. The crowd showed their hate. He told them to suck it while he held up a #1 plate. I'm certain Bobby was proud of him and so was his family and friends. That's all that matters at the end of the day. Not some idiots opinion that has never raced a SX and never even won a puny little AMA C class title. LOL
Have we all forgotten CW2 and his blatant disrespect will talking trash on the start lines? Many are young kids and in time will learn. Us old folks remember Bob Hannah being a loud mouth that was, at times, over top. If you back it up with wins, you're a winner. That is what factories are looking for.
