Do the 250 for the 250 class then I'll be impressed.

This would definitely be up there if the engine wasn’t still sitting in a certain builders shop

I’m sure I’ll get some hate, but I think James is the most talented rider to ever throw a leg over a dirt bike. What he did, especially on a 125, was absolutely incredible to watch. The battles between him, Ricky, and Chad were an absolute joy to watch.

James was willing to do things that other riders weren't, and do them at the speed that he did them...because (in my opinion) he KNEW he could. He had supreme confidence in his own abilities, and talent. Like a guy suddenly turns into a contender from an also-ran after he wins his first overall...James flat knew what he was capable of. Yeah, I'm still a fan. He was one of the most amazing riders to watch ever.

James was the most exciting rider to watch that ever set foot on a motocross track period.

SX in the early to mid 2000s where they were pushing those 250 two strokes seemed so fucking intense. 02–05 were so epic to watch, I wish we got to see James and Chad battle their careers on two strokes the whole time. Definitely some good battles lost to four strokes.

The thing with Stewart, is his confidence in himself was a big factor. He had so much raw skill that he was just exciting to watch. That’s pretty high praise from those two.

I’m far for a king in building bikes but enjoy turning bikes that no one would buy into showroom bikes. Plus, I’m supporting local people in there rough times by paying them to do work I could do myself but don’t want to & don’t want to get equiped to do. It’s a hobby. Hobby often means spending money. I lost money on the 3 builds I sold but not a big deal since the Yamaha money hasn’t dried out yet. For the people talking s***, I’m not doing it to impress anyone but only to enjoy myself and fill...

Yep back to 3 classes: 125 250 (2 or 4 stroke) 500 (450 4 stroke or 300-500 2 stroke) At least give the guys a choice.

Factories can race and develop the 250 4st. Privateers and B/C level teams can ride the 250 2sts. Fans benefit. Adds extra excitement, factions, sound, and diversity. WIN FUCKING WIN. The only reason it doesn't happen is because the factories are terrified someone will beat their precious 4-strokes on an 'outdated' 2-stroke. Heaven fucking forbid. Sack up and do what's good for the fans.

I think your half wrong. A 125 feeder class would allow fast riders from all over to get a taste of race pace and see where they need more development. Would allow teams to see talent they may not be able to normally see. It would be a win win.

hypermoto Liked a reply to forum topic 2021 TM 250 2 stroke, not mx

My TM is the best bike I’ve ever owned. The thing just makes me happy looking at it. It’s a 19 144MX i ordered new. I loved my KTM but this thing is so much nicer. I’ve got 76 hours on it now and will for sure buy another new one in 2022 when they get new styling. I wish more would consider these bikes. Not a huge fan of my YZ especially it’s build quality in comparison to the TM.
