Yeah, I know what you guys are saying. I normally run SKF, but I was just giving these a try for the sake of this thread and sharing my findings so nobody wastes their money on them. And for an update, I let a guy ride my bike today who's forks I have valved similar to mine, but mine are set up to be a little softer. He actually thought mine where firmer over roots and rocks than his, so the seals seem to be creating considerably more stiction than his OE Yamaha seals. So, the blue seals are coming...

Stock 5.0nm fork springs are good for your weight, you should do what Enzo said and go up 1 rate on shock spring to balance the bike. If the back of the bike rides too low it will make the forks feel harsh because there is not enough weight on them Enzo are KYB specialists and I do lots of...

Use NOK Japanese made OEM nothing else is as good thus far For WP forks I use a KYB seal made for the PSF1 or PSF2 air forks they are a single spring seal and work really well in the WP stuff

Hey Ping it looks to me like you could have gone a spring rate softer on the forks or maybe just less preload on the springs that were in it. The shock looked pretty good but is for sure a bit softer than the forks. I'm that Factory Spec guy from Australia, you rode that Garage build Twisted Development YZ250 a few years back that belonged to Kris Puffer who is around 220 lbs so it was sprung waaay to stiff for you. Thats a for a KYB 46mm shock that will fit YZ125/250 if you have a YZF you need a spring for 50mm shock. The top is bigger diameter than the bottom on both type of springs I'm pretty sure SDI are genuine KYB springs

Not wanting to bash anyone with this comment but I have been noticing less and less "tech" content in the Pit Bits. I used to come to see factory bike close-ups, details, technology but I feel like lately, this has been giving way to more practice/riding shots.

2015/16 CRF250R shock springs should work, both shocks are 50mm SHOWA and the spring length is the same

For your weight you need .48kg or stock fork springs and stock shock spring as well. When the springs are too soft for your weight the suspension rides low in the stroke and that is why it feels harsh. Hell yea that is sick, but it should be mandatory to at least throw a 180 turn down each lap.

Make sure your forks are not bound up on the axle, if they are they will be sticky and not absorb bumps when the front is light under acceleration and wiggle side to side. Bleed the air out between motos as well The springs are a bit stiff front and back as well
