Where can you buy KYB springs online?? I need a 5.0-5.1 kg/mm spring.

Also, is there a certain direction the spring goes on? On the stock spring I noted the paint mark was on the side of the shock that mounts to the linkage.

I ordered what I thought was a KYB spring from Suspension Direct as it was advertised as that. There was also mention of RCU but Googling that didn’t get me very far.

In the picture you can see the spring I got at the top along with the part number and the stock KYB spring below it. I’m pretty sure what I received is not KYB. You’ll notice the advertised spring is silver like my stock spring as well...

I just ordered from them as well and it came black too. The spring is slightly bigger on the top side.

Thats a for a KYB 46mm shock that will fit YZ125/250 if you have a YZF you need a spring for 50mm shock.
The top is bigger diameter than the bottom on both type of springs
I'm pretty sure SDI are genuine KYB springs

Was that supposed to say, “That’s a part # for a KayB spring”?

It’s a YZ125 which is a 46mm.

I spoke with SDI today and they are NOT genuine KYB springs. Why they list them on their site the way they do is beyond me.

I called Technical Touch and ordered a genuine KYB spring.
