1/19/2016 4:09pm I thought the problem was solved in 2016, maybe even 2015. If you check the online parts fiche, the 2016 rod replaces the 2014 number. I've got 64 hours on my stock 2014, runs great, no issues. Replacing the top end this winter, if rod is in spec, probably will run another 60.

12/22/2015 5:49pm I spoke to a tuner saying it would be hard to get a good top end pull with a oversized big bore without stroking the crank, and if possible, increasing the crank case volume to feed the higher rpm demand of the larger bore.

12/16/2015 12:56pm Hey Pete, I noticed in another thread you picked up a new YZ250? Are you going to go to another ESR 325 kit? I have a YZ250 too and need more HP, thinking ESR or updating my 02 KX500 with a Tom Morgan engine & newer '14 KX250f SFF Spring forks?
