Imo Watson who would have benefited doing what Horgmo is doing now or what Calvin Vlaanderen did for years: Ride for a supported team in stead of a factory team, where they are happy with you going 11, 15, 10, 12, 13 for races and have a massive party twice a year when you finish 4th or 6th. Now he is 29 so i think his current setup is good for him: focus on uk and do a bunch of gp's if you feel good.

I don’t see anyone coming close to this for a long time. Lucas is leaving and would be your only chance. You have to be massively talented, win early and often, have winning longevity, and whether we like it or not, the AMA is poaching a lot of your main competitors. The mega winners Everts and Herlings ticked every box, and AC nearly did, but you could argue he didn’t win that early and often until he was 19. With Lucas leaving and Gajser not gelling with the Yamaha, his win total could get completely untouchable.

Seems like a mechanical as well. is it me or does it seem like there are more mechanicals in both MX2 and MXGP lately?

The pass wasn’t dirty at all. It was a good, slow paced pass that had minimal chances of taking out/hurting either one. It was a textbook, clean, no contact, excellent pass.

If ended 2nd in Switzerland moto 1, 8th in Germany moto 1 and 2nd again in Latvia moto 2, and if Lucas ended top 3 in Switzerland moto 1, then Lucas would have 526 and Jeffrey 506 (which is Lucas actual scores), so a 20 point gap difference.

You can say many things about Herlings, but he is not a dirty rider at all

I really didn't think the move from Herlings was that aggressive, especially when Coenen was riding such a wide bike. Best not to let people know you can be rattled by block passes if you're going to be racing supercross and people like Deegan next year

Sometimes I lose sleep thinking about what Herlings' career would like like without all the injuries..

I'm becoming a fan of Farres and his Triumph. He executed two beautiful motos today. The way he rode looked effortless. Great for team Triumph, those boys are getting great results from both Farres and Camden.

Amazing weekend for Farres! So fast and so composed. Maybe he can fight for this Championship!

I'd forgotten Garcia ( and Cannon?) was going to Southwick. Good lock to him, he's a Charger, that's for sure. He's got a lead of 102 points over Cannon in 2nd. Cannon is something around 17 in front of 3rd. He's got to get better starts than recent ones , that's for sure . He's giving himself so much work getting through the field - a class that's chock full of blazingly fast young hooligans. A Pom, Brookes, just got his first EMX250 podium. And, I think I heard Malin say that was the first Brit podium in EMX250 since...
