You can say many things about Herlings, but he is not a dirty rider at all

You’re the stat man, how far would Herlings be behind Coenen if he had finished in the positions when he had the dnf’s?

If ended 2nd in Switzerland moto 1, 8th in Germany moto 1 and 2nd again in Latvia moto 2, and if Lucas ended top 3 in Switzerland moto 1, then Lucas would have 526 and Jeffrey 506 (which is Lucas actual scores), so a 20 point gap difference.

I'm sure Lucas will change his mind about retaliation when he watches it back. If he doesn't, well, oh dear.

The pass wasn’t dirty at all. It was a good, slow paced pass that had minimal chances of taking out/hurting either one. It was a textbook, clean, no contact, excellent pass.

What happened to Oliver in the second moto? He was doing well.

Seems like a mechanical as well.

is it me or does it seem like there are more mechanicals in both MX2 and MXGP lately?

Does anyone else experience sound issues on MXGPTV when watching the races back on replay? For me it sounded like the commentary was being done under water!

It's pathetic that they are uploading the replays like that, they clearly do no checking of the quality!

For how many staff they have, and what they charge, its a joke.  You can tell its going to be fucked up because the MXGP tag goes to shit halfway through.  It literally takes 30 seconds to check it.

Only 1 race out of the 7 i watched worked on replay.

For the underwater sound on replay. I found that if I click onthe video, then hit pause, and then wait like 30 seconds before hitting play it works as it should. Not what it should be but at least I could watch them. Seems like a buffering issue?

117th GP win for Herlings 🏆

I don’t see anyone coming close to this for a long time. Lucas is leaving and would be your only chance. You have to be massively talented, win early and often, have winning longevity, and whether we like it or not, the AMA is poaching a lot of your main competitors. The mega winners Everts and Herlings ticked every box, and AC nearly did, but you could argue he didn’t win that early and often until he was 19. With Lucas leaving and Gajser not gelling with the Yamaha, his win total could get completely untouchable.

It's impossible to beat. 61 out of those wins are out of 7x Mx2 seasons. Dude had the biggest impact on the Mx2 age rule being enforced. Not to say he isn't one of the greatest, he definitely is. He is at 56 MXGP (Mx1) wins currently. Cairoli for example has 70 Mx1 wins, it's much more interesting to see if he'll break that, if he lines up next year and Lucas isn't there anymore barring injury I think he can get it.

AMA Nationals are going to be exciting next year with the Coenen brothers in the mix along with the Lawrences.

If you point out his MX2 career you get labeled a hater, but that’s 100 percent correct. The rules will not allow you to win that much in MX2.

Clear your cache & cookies then refresh or just open an incognito browser & play it there. Both of those ways have got it to work for me when it does that.

Another angle on the pass. Looks pretty tame to me.

I have that issue - And, use that cure - on some videos, every now and then.

And, on vids other than MXGP .

I put it down to my ancient 'puter in my workshop, where I watch most things - it being so bloody Ancient, and, filled with dust / dust bunnies from my Linisher ( that's 6 meters away, but, it gets Everywhere). Come to think of it, I Must open the old rattlebox up, and blow out around a years worth of detritus, before it catches fire.

Just try things guys - it's almost always just few presses of the buttons on your key board that will sort things.

Yes it is.

Just before it, things were getting  'willing' between them - but it was nothing but hard racing, as that was.  Though, a few here might just bring out "cross jumping' on Lucas, where it was just the line out of the corner, and him getting air out of it.

Perhaps Lucas is getting a bit of an attitude that he's The Man, and thus untouchable? It happens sometimes when riders ascend.

He's a Magnificent rider, and, I don't doubt, will gain more Titles ( so long as he doesn't axe himself  -  in SX especially next year), but he can't expect his rivals to Not Race him.

Cripes, many riders would have put him on his arse in that corner, especially US SX competitors.

To quote the Commentators  - Malin and JT$ ( a Great Team ! ) -  JT : "That Was Well Executed" , then Malin : "That Was Perfectly Executed".
