There is no way anyone takes Renaux over Gajser, unless its a financial decision. Amazing how many teams appear to be clueless these days.

Obviously, but he also turned 34 years old this year. So signing another big fat contract isn't a bad descision in this stage of his career. The question is, who will make the step to KRT? Jonass is doing quite well, but to be a race winner is another step and he isn't the youngest either. So Farres definitely could be an option I would look at if I was them

Febvre must be getting a fat check to go over to Ducati if that’s true. He seems to mesh well with the team personnel over at KRT, I thought he’d end his career with them.

I think they’ll stay in Europe and concentrate on winning MXdN for Belgium.

I cannot deny that kid is exciting to watch, but if doesn't learn to settle down he is seriously going to hurt himself. SX is going to be a serious learning curve I'm afraid.....

According to French media DailyMotocross and Motoverte, they both have Febvre tied to Ducati on a two year deal. Rumor of Hutten possibly running the MX2 team for Triumph with the current team running the MXGP team. Farres possibly moving up to MXGP next to Haarup or possibly heading back to the US.

..yeah, I'm enjoying watching Farres progress. He has a bright future and here's betting that HRC Honda will sign him for 450s at some point.

They did a great job. Trying to slow down a track is always a learning curve. This is by far a decent GP track. I hope it stays. South Africa needs to be on the schedule.

I was under the impression that everyone was complaining that the track was too fast. I enjoyed the racing, and for sure, the track layout was pretty decent. A few small changes here and there could make the track better. If they could run this GP in summer, then we'd have nice green grass and awesome trees in full-bloom. Also the soil will be loamier that time of the year. Johannesburg area is bone dry in winter.

Track looked epic, like a Southern California style track from the drone footage, very Pala'esque. If they get the event to be held in Cape Town area in future the attendance will be even better I think, and you can choose between a sand or hard pack style track all within 30min of Cape Town (they would just need the same track builders as the Terra Topia track as existing tracks in the Cape would not cut it for MXGP)- WSX had a good turnout and that same fan base will show up for MXGP.

Johannesburg area is very dry during winter. Had this GP taken place in summer, you'd have lush dark green grass everywhere around the track and the trees would be in full bloom with purple flowers. I liked the track but it definitely could be slowed down a bit..throw in a few 180 corners to start with. The Mlimi's, who own the track will learn from this and if they get another GP then I'd hope they secure a date for later in the year.

What do you expect a man made track in the middle of nowhere to look like ? Its South Africa, its hot and dusty, Unadilla would look like that if it was there.

If we count all pro races (MX2+MXGP+MX US (250/450), SX US (250/450), SMX, MXON. Lucas Coenen has, since yersteday, led more laps than Hunter Lawrence. Lucas led 854 laps vs 851 for Hunter. Among the active riders over this last week-end : 3 352 = Cairoli 2 859 = Herlings 2 031 = Prado 1 562 = Gajser 1 521 = Jett 1 148 = Vialle 1 082 = Febvre 854 = Lucas 851 = Hunter 747 = Webb
