I think US has a better chance at a podium than people think. Their ceiling is within the podium but they could also drop out of the top 5 if they don't get good starts. They just need some luck to go their way and it will really depend on how France, Spain and the Netherlands' third riders do. Valin, Garcia and Coldenhoff are the big wildcards, but as always they just need one good moto.

I would assume that if the HRC thing doesn't happen and Simon stays in MX2 Mikula would stay in known enviroment with Osička with current support rather than change KTM teams for the sake of changing teams. He got small private compound at his place that seems to work out for him. I don't see him racing MXGB instead of pounding laps there but he is friend with Ricardo Bauer so who knows...

If Mikula will go to SS24 then alot of people will be really surprised. He was more often to be seen at HRC Honda truck the last few races then his own truck.
