The plain reality of things is that pifalls of owning 3 lines of bikes is better handled by 3 parent companies than one. KTM entered into an exponential situation with all things being X3. The profits as well as the risks, which in this industry are perilous. It was pipe dreams on their part and now they are paying a dear price for their one time greed.

I mean...you'd be pretty naive to think KTM was going to be okay after buying 2 motorcycle brands and just making them all KTM's with different colors... Bought Husky and GasGas just to make them the same as their KTM. We all saw this coming.

You may like ktm or you may not like ktm, but no motorcycle enthusiast should be happy or enjoy the fact that a motorcycle company is in trouble.

Anybody else get the impression many people in the industry are enjoying KTM having to deal with this?

My only concern would be future contingency for the Austrian bikes

I used to hear a lot of that. I won practice, i'm fast. "YOU NEED TO" give me a bike. That part of the industry, I don't miss.

Every pro 250F racer would swap their fully built race engine for a stock KTM350 engine if it were an option.

It never ceases to amaze me how much effort people will go when opining about people they dislike....which only brings more attention to them. See the same behavior when people complain about members on this forum.... Basically its: "I hate this guy....but I can't stop reading their content". Hilarious. I'm not for or against Cooksey...I just don't care.

I remember the story Lewis told on either Pulp or his show with Kellen, earlier this season. Kay wants to come to the States to race so bad that it's all he talks about in his pit. So much so that someone had to pull him aside and tell him, you're starting to get on people's nerves with all this talk of going to the US. Bring him over!

I can't wait for him to come to the US and pick up SX. He's insanely talented on a dirtbike, every bit as raw talented as Jett. Future champion IMO. I'll be rooting for him. I'm stoked to watch him race in the US. Can't wait!

If the moto industry wants him to go away they could start reporting on more interesting topics to make Cooksey irrelevant. How did Cooksey get the scoop on Roczen racing a 250? Forkner to Triumph? any others?
