I agree with Whiskey that while I wasn't a fan of Hunters, his SX season was unreal. From never winning a 450 SX race, to winning all the time and being in the title fight into the last round, had me watching him more. I rooted for Kenny, but Hunter is humble to a fault. Even saying his 4th place start in moto 1 at Shougal was a "bad" start. The guy is humble and very well spoken. He never has a bad or awkward interview. Here’s my theory, for what it’s worth. I think Jett can still do Jett things, but he struggles to consistently go as fast as he wants to go due to his ankle changing how he has to ride. Meanwhile Hunter has grown into his potential and is a true threat to win every time he’s on the gate. Jett knows that with Hunter, protecting a small lead is no longer good enough, because big bro is always stronger towards the end of the race.
