Probably one to the STUPIDEST meme posts I’ve ever seen by Daniel Blair! Will Smith was overreacting to a stupid joke and lost it, Tomac does not over react to anything (that we’ve seen). Will Smith just looks stupid afterwards and didn’t win anything by bitchslapping Chris Rock who barely moved when he was hit. ...making Will Smith look like quite the wussie. ...then Chris Rock throws out a few more jokes. ...I think most would think Chris Rock won that exchange. Bad meme attempt @maineventmoto

One of these things is not like the others.... anyone notice the photo of the bronze hub belonging (most likely) to a factory Kawasaki? Was that intentional? ...Do I win a prize? Seriously, it’s surprising that Kawasaki is still running castle nut/cotter pinned rear axle nuts when there’s a chance a rear wheel might need to be quick changed. Anderson has done it before (just sayin’)

Soooo.... D.I.D Rims, Kite Hubs, I’m sure Method isn’t making the spokes and nipples... it’s just a rebranded product that already exists(?). If they’re more expensive due to the graphics than any rider running them will look foolish for spending the extra $$$ for nothing.

Stu Baylor = Idiot!!! Flipping his bike over at the finish line is about the stupidest thing he could do. If I were Yamaha I would drop him on the premise of unwarranted bike abuse! It doesn’t look good!!!

Looks like Jett Reynolds will be sporting #709 next year. Sneak preview in the background of Tony Archer’s photo of Forkner’s bike at the PC shop.

At the moment? Roczen won the MX2 World Championship then came here and got beat 2 years straight on the 250's... It wasn't until he had been training in the US for 3 years that he started winning again. How long was Dylan in the US before he started winning? Jett has never raced GP's... I think there's a lot of under analysis that goes on here. A guy was born in Germany and he's winning in AMA, must be GP guys are better than American's... Not quite how it works.

The more time that goes by the more this seems be an issue. They should have stuck with the class designations 125/250F and 250/450F. Changing the 125 class to just the 250 class is a huge discredit to all the past premier class 250cc 2-Stroke champions as well.

This is an exaggeration. Some come here and win but not all. And typically it is one of their budding superstars like a Roczen or Bayle who would have "dominated" in MXGP as well.

It’s interesting how so many people think that the Europeans are dominating the US riders when the primary (or only) race they use is the MXoN. I’ve been saying for years that it’s not a good (true) indicator of the US racers. The AMA season finishes 3-4 weeks before the event while the GP racers usually have the next weekend after the GP season finale. It’s practically the last race of the GP calendar while it’s an out of the way event for the U.S. team. Add in that the U.S. racers are racing in a totally foreign format to...

You must have an incredible amount of free time if you're fact checking me on MY column. And you're wrong, by the way. Per the Vault, here's Eli's 450 class starts: SX- 21, 20, 4, 5, 22, 3, 7. MX- 3, 3, 1, 1, 2, 3.... some of these seasons, 2016 for example, he didn't win an overall until the halfway point in the series. My point was that he doesn't push until he's comfortable, which makes sense. He's had real issues getting his Kawasaki to turn while getting the fork to hold up the way he wants. It's been...

We’re talking Motocross here Ping, as I said AND as the question relates. Check your stats again. 2015 was Tomac’s first season opener on a 450 and he won Hangtown with probably the most dominant performance in racing history. ...not 3rd as you have in your numbers. The results took me less than 2 minutes to check on the AMA Motocross Results website. Quick and easy. It also shows that in the first 2 rounds of each year, if you would rather call the start of the season that way, he’s raced 20 races over 10 years (minus 2014 when...

What what Ping??!…. Eli Tomac “starting off slow, doesn’t look great at the opening rounds… until he works his way into being comfortable...” What are you looking at? Maybe in SX but not in Motocross! This is Not the Eli Tomac that we’ve seen over the years. Eli’s career first round overall results are 1-4-5-3 in 250’s and 1-3-1-1-2-3 in 450’s. He’s been the most dominant racer in the opening rounds by far. Maybe it’s because you’re on vacation and not thinking straight. This is for sure panic button time for Tomac. If he doesn’t get on (at least) the...

After Lewis Hamilton got the majority of F1 drivers to join the BLM movement, kneeling for the flag, I said see-ya to F1. It’s really sucked since the hybrid era started anyway. Mercedes with their 4 times the budget over every other team sans Ferrari has show the world how to buy a sport. The last thing I’d like to see is a tribute in our sport to that idiot. ...not a good look IMO on Roczen. He does seem to want to be part of that ego-centric sports-Hollywood crowd.

I get GD2 that you’re a Ferrandis fan, and I agree that he rode awesome. But Tomac won that race. ...and after getting the 13th at H1, don’t think that there is a question to who had the best “good” outcome on the night. Ferrandis should be “The Good Bonus Bonus”. I’ve even done the math to see how his times stacked up against Tomac, and he was faster. Excluding the last lap where most guys are no longer in charge mode, from the time Ferrandis got clear of the carnage on lap 8, over the next 20 laps he...

It looks like a mash-up between a vintage Honda with the black engine and the fork boots and a modern bike with the graphics package. I stick by it would work better with a full mid-80’s look with the fork boots.
