The drive between Houston and Glendale would be completely unlike anything you could experience in Europe in terms of scenery (desert and red rock type scenery). Can't tell you anything about west option. If you're moto obsessed and do the Daytona- indy route, there's a couple potential things you could do to make it interesting. Lot of practice facilities you could at least drive by and try to sneak a peak at. Unfortunately…with riders using less protective gear than ever so as not to restrict movement, they open themselves up to more possible injuries from less severe crashes.
