Commented this the other day and got obliterated as well. Dudes racing in America are riding Supercross literally September-May right now. That’s 8 months. I’m not sure why that’s so hard to comprehend.

Maybe not quite on subject in an mx forum, but when I was in Japan a few weeks ago, I saw multiple entire fashion shops that were almost exclusively Norton motorcycle branded gear. Even odder: the fashions most frequently had a Harley-Davidson panhead graphic on them.

This is why companies get so crazy about their logos... they don't want their brand name "supporting" a message they don't endorse. You know, like telling people to go buy another brand. 😁

Saw this guy outside of my house today with some interesting jersey design: half O’Neal half Fox with RC on a Suzuki decked out on the back. What a strange knock off. I see all sorts of designs like this all over Southeast Asia, which made me think of other weird designs others would have come across?

I’ve been recently rewatching old Supercross races and it struck me how much more variety there used to be in terms of track design. 2009 St Louis round designed by Pastrana was absolutely insane considering today’s standards. What are your notable track designs?

Rewatched some old races recently to realise our sport has had more variety of sponsors compared to today. What are your notables? Let me start: the whole series sponsored by EA Mastercard (MyPlash) sponsoring the Star Yamaha team a range of CBD companies that came and went TLD sponsors like Atari

Lots of desert and mountains to explore if you did Houston and Glendale. The drive between Houston and Glendale would be completely unlike anything you could experience in Europe in terms of scenery (desert and red rock type scenery). You could drive through the mountains of New Mexico/southern Colorado into Northern Arizona, visit the Grand Canyon and Sedona, do some hiking down the Sonora desert around Phoenix, etc. The mountains in Colorado near the 4 corners are spectacular, though in the winter the travel can be dicey for sure. Cool restaurant scene in Scottsdale (Phoenix area), etc. Agree that Houston...

Somewhere in the middle of the stands i Also, if you have strong ankles and don't mind standing most of the time - the trackside access puts you right next to the SX track on the banked pavement of the tri-oval track. It gets a little crowded down there though, and people get a little rowdy. You are allowed to bring in your own canned beer, so empty beer cans just slide down the banked pavement next to your feet. The track is pretty long lengthwise, so if you are at either end of the stands, you won't be able...

Thanks guys, love the pointers! Definitely sounds like Daytona and Indy is the way to go. Plenty of places to visit along the way too. Regarding Daytona, anyone who’s been would have a recommendation for the best place in the stands to watch the race?

Daytona, Indy. Hear me now, on your way to Indy, you MUST stop at the Air Force museum near Dayton, Ohio. Wright-Patterson AFB. It’s free. You’ll need 3-4 hours. Also, if you are coming up 75 from Florida, stop at Old Car City in Cartersville, Georgia, also Savoy Car Museum close by. Best of luck, enjoy.

Can't tell you anything about west option. If you're moto obsessed and do the Daytona- indy route, there's a couple potential things you could do to make it interesting. Lot of practice facilities you could at least drive by and try to sneak a peak at. Bakers and sandbox and some others in central Florida, star Yamaha and triumph in Georgia, club mx in South Carolina. Or you could swing through Birmingham Alabama and go to Barber Motorcycle museum. Can hit Nashville for a night or two If you want to experience some American debauchery or country music. And even...

Hi guys, I’m looking to do a Supercross roadtrip with my dad (flying in from Europe). It’s been a long time dream of mine to do this trip together, and this year it looks like we can finally get to accomplish this. I’m considering two options: 1) Rounds 4 and 5 - Houston, Glendale 2) Rounds 8 and 9 -...

Unfortunately…with riders using less protective gear than ever so as not to restrict movement, they open themselves up to more possible injuries from less severe crashes. And although technology is so much better in helmet construction…there is no 100% concussion-proof headgear. I hope Hunter gets better quickly & can give Sexton a competitive run for the rest of the season.
